TV version of the classic Piranha film in which Dr. Baines' genetically modified piranhas run wild in the Lost River, after Maggie (Alexandra Paul) and Paul (William Katt) accidentally release them. These piranhas can survive in any waters and thrive on human flesh. So Maggie and Paul try every measure possible to stop these predators from spreading and causing total destruction along the way.

The remake that came before the Kelly Brook porno remake
Two stars. Obviously nowhere near as good as the peerless original which is, deservedly, a cult classic. It doesn’t help matters that Stephanie from Baywatch is in this one. Also, as with the original, and the ultra violent semi porno remake, the opening of the film features some truly horrendous naked boobies. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE jugs as much as the next gay guy, but c’mon! where was the male nudity?! Pffft! Anyway. This film is not bad. But it’s just about watchable.
