MXRC Professional Replacement Repair Kit Swap Thumb Analog Sticks for PS4 Controller & Xbox One Controller, Black

These swappable thumbsticks are AMAZING! They are much higher quality than I imagined they’d be! The thumbsticks snap tightly into place & don’t have any “play” once installed. I don’t ever see them coming off during use... but will update this review if they do.The 3 different thumbstick sizes (short/ standard, medium, & tall) are just the right heights. I’m currently using the short/ standard one on the left thumbstick, & am switching between the medium & tall one on the right.They were very easy to install & fit perfectly in my PS4 PRO controller (the newest version w/ the front-facing lightbar) without any rubbing or any other issues.One of the great things about these is that because they are made of plastic (& don’t add extra weight to the top of the thumbstick) the thumbstick “springs back to center” when released instead of springing past center, which can cause unwanted input on the controller! In the past, I’ve used those cheap, extended-height silicone risers that fit over the top of the thumbsticks. While I generally liked them, when I would release the thumbstick (because of the added weight on the top of the thumbstick) the thumbstick would sometimes spring past the center resting point causing unwanted controller input “on screen”! I haven’t tried those swappable, magnetic, Xbox Elite thumbsticks (that also fit DS4 controllers) but I would imagine that because of the added weight of the magnets & metal they could possibly suffer from the same problem that those silicone risers do!?!Another thing I REALLY like is that both the concave & convex thumbsticks have a really nice rubberized coating on top, instead of just a slick, textured, hard plastic! They are very comfortable to use & my thumbs don’t slide off during use (even if they get a bit sweaty)! The rubber coating (in my opinion) feels much better than the coating on the stock DS4 thumbsticks. It has a very slight “tacky” feel to it which makes it quite grippy. (* If I have any issues with the rubberized coating peeling off I’ll update this review). BTW, the concave thumbsticks are Xbox One style & the Convex are PS4 style. So far, I prefer the Xbox One concave thumbsticks, however, the PS4 style thumbsticks are really nice as well!I HIGHLY recommend these thumbsticks to ANYONE that owns a PS4 (DS4) controller that would like the option of variable-height, quickly-swappable thumbsticks! This is an EXCELLENT product for the price! ^ _ ^(* I cant think of any cons at this point but will update this review if I do. Also, I bought these with my own money. They weren’t given to me in exchange for a positive review)

This swappable stick set is a great replacement for the convex style sticks used on Dualshock 4 controllers, however the concave style Xbox tops have a weird sticky/rubbery texture I just cant get used to. Kind of disappointed I cant use half of the tops in the pack but the quality of the DS4 style tops makes up for it.

Good for scuff controllers

Awesome replacements for my astro C40 controller. I did not like the thumb sticks that came with the Astro controller, but these made an awesome replacement. Pretty close to feeling like the original ps4 sticks.

These broke within a month that I had them and I just switched them back to my regular PlayStation for thump sticks they felt great when I used them but for them just a break it’s not worth it.

These are the best replacement sticks ive bought, and ive bought 3-4 different types from amazon, the magnetic ones are trash, other models felt cheap.
