My husband and I bought this for exercise in our backyard during the Covid-19 pandemic. It was an ok jumprope to start with--a little too lightweight. But it did the trick. However, about 1.5 months after we bought it, the rope broke off at one of the handles! We only used it a few times per week! Really poor quality. I would look elsewhere--we're going to have to buy a new rope somewhere else! Save your money and don't buy this rope.

The leather was really dry and cracked on getting out of the packaging.

I've bought two of these. First one snapped after using a couple times a week for a couple months and I just thought it was bad luck. Second snapped after only 4 uses (about 2500 rotations per use). The rope feels great and looks great, it just isn't durable. While it's not expensive, I expected to get more than a handful of sessions out of it.
