Mountain Boy Sledworks Mountain Boggan 4-Foot Toboggan

We've had this for 7-8 years now. It's still in great condition even thought three kids and their friends have really abused it! I've pulled my kids to school in this on snowy days. 3 sit comfortably last year (8, 6 and 4. Now that the kids are heavier, it's also faster downhill than our other sleds. At the sled hill the "saucers" are discarded and kids stand in line to ride 2 and 3 at a time on this. We've really gotten a lot of use out of this! Great purchase!

Quality poor. Craftsmanship poor. Broke first time I used it. I would not recommend any one purchase this if they intend to actually use it.

Bought this as a family Christmas gift and I dremeled my kids names in it and the year. Cosmetically it had a knot in the curl that makes an unsightly jagged hump in a spot that should be smooth , so that was a big disappointment. Overall it looks good - I wish they'd have put the knot in flat spot, it would have been easier to steam the curl without a knot too. That said, it is fast and fun. Two little kids and one adult can hit mach speed with minimal effort. It always attracts attention and performs great in a much wider variety of snow conditions than the plastic ones you break every outing. Wood is pretty soft, would recommend hardener and restaining the running surface at the end of each season.

I have both a 6-foot and 4-foot Mountain Boggan. The 6-foot is great for the whole family (it seats 4), but the 4-foot is perfect for one or two people. The product is excellent: rustic and handmade, with 1/2" thick planks. It is wide (17") and has a big curl (15" tall), which means you can fit your feet into it.I'd recommend both the toboggan and the pad ( Mountain Boy Sledworks Mountain Boggan 4-Foot Toboggan Pad ).

This is a lovely sled and makes a nice conversation peice and decoration. However, on our second trip out, it cracked.
