Worked great for my application
I ordered two of these to hook up a GE whole house carbon filter housing into my home's water main. The housing was 1" female threads, and the copper fittings I put on the supply loop were 3/4" male adapters. It was mounted to the wall in my garage. The lines were solid, thick, and well-constructed. They bent with moderate effort and held their shape well once bent. Each had a black flat rubber washer on each end, and these sealed without a drip against the male adapters on one end and 1" brass close nipples on the other (fitted into the filter housing.) The price was good and they worked as advertised. They were packed well and shipped USPS. Couldn't ask for more.

Surprisingly kink-resistant but very springy if trying to make extremely tight bends.
I would not have believed it. Stayed completely unkinked. But it does keep some amount of pressure pushing back against the bend, trying to straighten itself out when very short radius bends are made. I think the tightest bend recommended is about 5 or 6” diameter (obviously half of that as a radius). My softener tank tilted over a few degrees (lifting one side of the tank bottom about an inch or so off the floor) if I tried to make the bend very tight so I pulled the tank back a few inches so it stood up straight. I bet I could have strapped the tank tight to another tank next to it, to keep it vertical, and gotten my few inches back, with no problem. It seems like it would last longer than a braided hose, since it’s solid metal.

Made in China, 'cancer and birth defects' warning
Ok, so I got suckered in by the designed, machined, etc in USA claim on the Amazon description. This claim is apparently FALSE since the two I ordered pretty clearly say 'made in China' on them. This would be more of a problem for me if the price was more than the other similar non-US options here, but it was about the same. They also come with a California cancer and birth defects warning on them. I realize even the 'lead free' plumbing parts you can get now usually contain some small percentage of lead (which is unacceptable, for God's sake...). Or it could be some chemical in the gaskets, who knows (I wish the proposition 65 warnings actually gave specific information instead of just 'something in this product can cause birth defects or cancer'). Anyway the ones I got (24") are also maybe 1/2" different in length from each other, which doesn't matter much to me but does speak for the quality control in manufacturing. Not sure if I will keep these or return. I should have got 'lead free' ones. Besides the 'made in USA' claim, the other reason I chose these is that they are available with 1" FIP on one end and 3/4" FIP on the other which would make my installation cleaner not needing adapters...

good quality hook up and easy installation.
I was replacing my water softener that the original hoses were 3/4" pipe thread on both ends and the new unit had 1" input so I tried adaptors. That was miserable and it leaked. Also home depot didn't have what I needed. I found these on line at Amazon and they were just what I needed. I put them on hand right and one connection leaked. I lightly tightened the fittings just part of a turn and all leaks stopped and everything is perfect. It was also easy to get them bent into the proper shape and they held that shape. It turned a bad experience into a very satisfying event.

made loud noise!
I bought two of these to attach 1" water filters to a 3/4" copper adapter. One of them on the inlet side screamed like it had a blockage any time I would turn on more than one faucet. I replaced it with a 1"/3/4" reducer and a 3/4" braided water heater hose and the screaming went away. They were really stiff and hard to bend. I donated the screamer hose to the trash!

Makes plumbing easier for non plumbers!
Don't connect a water softener or water heater without these. These SS flexible hoses with quality fittings allowed me to be close with the supply / return CPVC lines and not have to be exact. Saved time and trouble. clean installation. Initial hand tightened and have not had one drop of leakage or had to re-tighten. Well made quality product. They should last for years and will be easy to replace if or when that time comes.

The items I replaced was made of copper. These are stainless steel and are more rugged.
Making the joints completely leak free is still tricky. I have better experience with the more flexible fibre-reinforced type, but counld not find them anymore.
