Ware Manufacturing Twitch-N-Tease Wand Cat Toy

In theory this would be an awesome toy. The handle is incredibly sturdy and the feather attachment is well made. The problem is the string. It's only about 8 inches long and very difficult to attach to the handle. Once it is attached there isn't much string to work with. I would buy 1000 of these if the string/handle attachment was modified. As it is it's meh.

Teasers aren't just great for cats - sugar gliders love them as well! Unfortunately, catnip is *highly* toxic (as in potentially deadly) to sugar gliders, so one has to exercise extreme caution when purchasing "cat" toys for gliders as they may contain catnip and/or catnip oil even if the package doesn't expressly state that they do.Before purchasing this product, I went to Ware's official website and contacted them directly to inquire about the toy, stressing the importance to my gliders' safety that I be **100%** sure there was no trace of catnip on any toy I used for them - I was thoroughly assured that this product contains NO catnip or catnip oil - it has a picture/advertisement for a catnip spray on the back but has zero catnip in the actual toy.Oh, and I forgot to mention, the cats go crazy for it too! ;)

I'm sure my cat would have liked to play with this. However, the string was extremely fiddly to attach, and I gave up trying to thread it through the tiny hole on the handle. It was very frustrating. I am sure once I can get past this problem, it will make a good toy for my cat.

It brokes after one week thanks to my kids :) it was not the favorite game for my cat. I was a little disappointed

My cat did not play w/ this. But then again she is 14 yrs old. When in playing mood she still prefers to play w/ everyday things like bird feather on fishing line, card board box. Toy is now in pieces and kids play Harry Potter w/ it.

I am glad I got this as a lightning deal for a few bucks. I would be miffed if I paid retail. My cat played with it for ten minutes and the feathers were torn out. I will be re-gluing it, but if that doesn't work, I am going to have to pay more money for a different piece for the end.

Cats love it (when they do get up to play) and it's made strong with a neat grip able handle. Doesn't seem like that would matter but it's really cool and comfortable.
