Great Trail Camera
I got this a few days ago . I put it out the first night, it was cold and rainy and this thing performed very well. I have a fox or two on my property and wanted to see where they lived. I placed the camera near what I thought was a den, and sure enough I got a picture or two of the fox. I've included the picture of the fox in the day and at night. I then placed it near our chicken coop (no chickens), and caught a great picture of the fox.The pictures are very clear and I use an SD card reader to get them quickly into my phone. This unit came with an SD card reader which works for both SD and Micro SD cards. This is a nice feature, but I haven't tried it yet because it has the USB Micro adapter rather than USB C. I have one of those things that converts it to USB C so I'll see if it works. The only issue I have is that the interface is difficult to use because the camera goes into picture taking mode very quickly. I have to keep turning it off and on to get it to go into the setup mode. I don't know if that's a feature or a problem so I'm going to send a note to the supplier to see what they say.

Works great after early hiccup
I bought this for my wife for Mothers Day as we are always seeing tracks of animals that come out at night. She had to go out and buy a couple of micro SD cards (with adaptors) but after formatting and inserting the card, we kept getting a "Card Error" message and we could find absolutely no support on-line for this error. That's always a little discomfiting and I was just a little annoyed with the manufacturer for not doing a better job of creating a troubleshooting guide for something like this. If they spent the time programming the error code, they should be able to explain it. We made the decision to return it and look for a different brand of camera. Then I found another micro card that I had used previously on my mp3 player, so I threw that in and everything worked just fine. The first night was windy so we got a lot of photos of nothing, but they are good quality photos of nothing and I'm sure that anything that walks through will show up on our camera. It's like the lottery- every morning we pull the card and hope we get lucky. It would have been 5 stars except for the poor support.

Do not purchase!
I was so excited to try out. I ordered a second one due to other customer ratings and product availability. What a let down! I placed in my back yard to capture photos of our black labs to adjust settings after a week I checked and did not get one picture!! i tried to take pic inside and screen froze up. I contacted manufacturer and they said it needed to be upgraded??? I tried the second one and I could't even set time and date before screen went green and froze. I am in the process of returning both!!! don't waste your money!!

Easy set-up and use
This trail camera was easy to set up and use. I am using it for property surveillance and, so far, the product functions as advertised. The small screen, however, makes it a bit difficult to view details in the field. Otherwise, I would purchase this unit again.

MACTREM Trail Camera with Night Vision is easy to setup and use.
For the price I have to say I am very satisfied. I have had this camera in the woods for about 2 months now. It has taken 100's of pictures both day and night. I like the wide angle it covers allowing it to capture images other cameras would miss. I have 2 SD cards for all my cameras, that way I just go out and swap the cards so that I can look at the pictures on a computer. Once in a while a night picture (these are black and white which is standard for trail cameras) will not turn out. I can tell which ones are bad by looking at the file size of the pictures, the bad ones will be very small compared to the good ones. Also, after 2 months and 100's of pictures the battery level meter still shows a full charge in the batteries. I hope this camera will last for several years as I plan to purchase more in the future as I need replacements.

Good camera, but concerned it broke after 3 uses
I would've given this 5 stars, but I was a little disappointed when it quit working after the third use. The screen froze on a blank white screen and I tried multiple troubleshooting tips but nothing worked to fix it. However, I received my replacement camera in less than 24 hours after going through the return process. I'm hoping that was just a fluke that the last one quit working when it was basically brand new. I'll change my review if this one decides to short circuit too. The camera itself did work exactly as described and I was happy with it until it broke. Maybe consider buying a higher quality one if you need a reliable camera.

Product was defective
It took a long time to get to come on, perhaps due to cheaply made slide button. It kept turning off. I switched out batteries and still had the same problem. Finally, I had it set up and installed outside, but it never took one photo and it no longer turns on at all. Requested to return it today.
