expensive alternative in the hunt for lower calories 40 vs. 360
Taste wise, I'm asian so the hint of shrimpy fishy smell doesn't bother me. The smell is not foreign. Texture and consistency - it is like eating asian hair or rice noodles. So, the slight rubber texture, again, is not foreign. Price wise, pretty expensive vs. noodles, like 5 times the cost. But, considering the calories drops from 360 to like 40 or below for other similar brands and the sodium is non existent, it is a lot healthier. So I guess healthy comes at a cost.

It’s still shirataki
The media could not be loaded. A fair substitute for actual macaroni. Some of the noodles actually are hollow like macaroni, some aren’t. And of course being what they are, they don’t actually absorb the flavor or hold onto the sauce of anything you put them into. That being said I like them. I will buy them again.

Skinny Ramen style has the best texture out of any shirataki noodle I have tried
I have tried a large variety of Shirataki style noodles including angel hair, ziti, capellini, tofu shirataki spaghetti, making my own, and now the Skinny noodles ramen. When I saw them I did not think they looked any different other than color from the tofu shirataki and I was not fond of the texture those. When I saw them in person I was not eager to eat them and thought I ordered 12 bags of noodles that I would not like. They also smell a little worse in prep (rinse) than the normal but that goes away with the pot boil like any other. I rinse them again before I put them in the pan. I know they have a couple of different ingredients but my expectations were low. I rinsed, boiled, pan-fried, and then prepared them like dry ramen and sat down to eat. I was very surprised that the texture is different. They are not just colored shirataki noodles designed to fool the mind. They actually have a softer bite even than the tofu style. So far out of all the shirataki noodles, these have the least amount of that weird texture. I actually am happy with my order. I can eat them daily or whenever without enduring such an unusual texture. If you have tried a quite a few like I have and just stumbled across this Skinny Noodles Ramen-style variety I think it is worth a try for sure. They are different and are better. They have 4 net grams carbs I believe.

Okay noodles
These noodles are okay I'm using them on my weight loss journey so I can't complain but they are a little rubbery, you should boil them then drain. They seem to hold a lot of water, I think they're best used in a stir fry like a lo mein situation sort of

It works
They hold alot of water. I use paper towels to help soak it up before putting them in the pan to cook out the rest. Flavor is ok and it works to help me lose weight.

Amazing Noodle for My Pho
I took a change and purchased a box of the Ramen-Style "Skinny Shirataki Noodles" and I'm glad I did. These were amazing (as a "low carb" noodle) and restored my faith that I could find a noodle replacement for a Keto diet that wasn't a turn off. While a "Ramen" style, I used them in a Pho soup.I've tried two different "low carb" / Keto noodles and did not like either of them. They felt more like eating calamari than a noodle, they were so rubbery. I would prefer to stick to spaghetti squash or zucchini noodles for pastas or bean sprouts for my Pho.So far I've made these noodles for my simple Pho recipe I have (It's not authentic but more of a "fast food" Pho) and I was blown away how much I enjoyed them. While these noodles aren't the standard Pho noodle, it really satisfied my craving for a noodle. Previously, I was using the white bean sprouts in place of noodles (which are also good).Making the noodles are pretty easy. Faster than making regular pasta, as you don't have to wait for boiling water, but still requires about the same number of dishes.First you'll rinse these noodles in a colander (the noodles are suspended in liquid for preservation). This part has a bit of odor that could turn some people off. Then you'll toss the rinsed noodles in a pan with some oil to fry them for 2-3 minutes.Once they're cooked, I toss them into my Pho. At that point, I find they taste amazing. They still have a little rubbery texture but it's about as close to a noodle as I would like.I look forward to trying these Ramen noodles in a carbonara and a stir-fry to see how they behave and taste outside of a strong flavored soup. I've got my fingers crossed these might work well for these recipes as well and I might be able to enjoy some meals I've been missing on a Keto diet.

BEST
I’ve tried the suppose #1 brand Well lean, tried miracle noodles versions, tried amazing lokarb versions (was my fav) and another brand i got locally that was so bad i don’t remember name of it. The rice from this Skinny Shirataki IS the best of them, there was NO rubber band texture at all, i actually somehow ended up making them like soft semi-mushy sticky rice so i couldn’t even tell i was eating fake rice!! all i did was rinse them under slightly hot water for a minute or so, let them sit till i finished my mushroom & bacon with heavy cream & parmesan sauce and then fried this rice on medium high till squeaky, added tbsp butter and then mixed into sauce...DELICIOUS, it was so nice having this meal without tasting squeaky rubbery shirataki rice or angel hair noodles!!since i only ordered this skinny brand cause the amazing lokarb noodles was out of stock forever but, came back in stock before i actually got around to eating this one, i now have more amazing lokarb angel hair to eat up but, when i run out, i am definitely going to try the angel hair from this brand for sure!! won’t bother trying a rice from any other brands that may be out there for this one here IS perfect in texture when made right..

Strange texture in last 2 orders
Both this shipment and the one before had bags (1 last time, 2 this time) that were really weird. The noodles were extremely thin and wiry, very tough, and about half as much in the bag as they should have had. I usually really like this product. I buy it for value and size of the portion, but these weird bags just kind of blew that all to pieces. I'll try again, but if I get another one of those weird bags I think I'll stop buying this and choose something else. The weird ones are inedible.
