very happy ☺
Seller kept me exceptionally well informed, by email and telephone.scooter was delivered within 48 hours of me putting in order.Delivery man was helpful and friendly, putting item wherever I needed.Scooter is great. Easily comes apart for putting in car. Set swivels and arm rests are movable so it's easy to get on or off. Lots of adjustment in seat height, armrest width, and handlebar angle. Has two ports to charge battery, one low, other situated in handlebars. Battery pack can be easily removed for charging separately, if you prefer to leave scooter in car, etc. Although this s only minus I have found, the battery pack is quite heavy. The suspension is amazing, I specifically wanted a mobility scooter that goes in my car and with suspension. (Tried one without suspension and it was painful for me feeling every minute bump as I went along.)I chose just delivery, and it was easy to put together, good intructions, took only minutes, although you may need a mobile friend to do it! I understand there is an option to have it delivered and put together. Was a little worried ordering an item without any reviews, but checked seller's rating, very high so went ahead nd ordered. Can only say can totally recommend seller. As said above seller contacted me regularly and delivered in two days.

Pride Apex Rapid Scooter
Great little scooter, with full all-round sprung suspension. My Wife suffers greatly from lower back pain and Arthritis of the spine, and this scooter has helped a lot by smoothing out the rough pathways..NOT completely, cos a Rolls-Royce car wouldn't be comfortable for her,but it has definately made a difference compared to her previous scooter! It came on time, well parcelled up,with no damaged or missing parts.Would recommend to anyone to buy this scooter from Amazon!UPDATE ON 19-7-2018!It is now more than two years since buying this scooter for my Wife,it is out nearly seven days a week, and has never let her down.It has been caught out in the rain, and dried nice and clean after a quick wipe down before putting it in the car boot.Would definately recommend this scooter to anyone! It rides average street walkways great..the sprung suspension is really effective. My Wife has the panels in Red,which is a beautiful lustrous finish, especially in the bright sunshine! The interchangeable set of Blue panels came with the scooter as a freebie offer at the time I bought it for my Wife.

great scooter except for the tyre size
My apex rapid has travelled the streets of Europe with only 1 cut out, as it was too steep. The scooter is very robust and reliable and the battery pack has lasted well over the many re-charges its had. Its gone over cobbles, mud, rough ground, endless pavements and kerbs. If pride had fitted the same bigger tyres as are present on its other models in this range (or offered them as an optional extra) it would be unbeatable as a portable and capable scooter, with the suspension. As it is, the tyres are the limiting factor for this scooter, its not stopped me much but my motor is getting bashed underneath and I have had to dismount a few times to get over kerbs etc. I am 6'3" 14 stone and I have never felt the scooter was going to tip over due to rough ground and hills, overall has performed very well and probably way outside of the envelope it was designed for !!!!

Cheap and not a good model for us
This is not a robust scooter. We bought it because of weight and portability but you only get what you pay for. We only used it for eight days to go back and forth along the flat front at Tenerife, approx fifty miles in total and the gearbox seized up leaving us and the old grandad stranded. You can tell it is of inferior quality when you look at the width of the tyres compared to other more robust models. In our opinion it is tinny and cheap. Fine for mobilising through the carpeted hallways of a sheltered housing complex or Care home but not much more.

A really good and reliable scooter
Pride Go-Go Apex Rapid Mobility Scooter - Red . Only negative points are:1) Front Basket is too small and it seems impossible to obtain a larger one that fits the attachment clips.2) I weigh 16 stone (not light I accept) so I have to be careful that I don't try to tackle anything more than a gentle slope otherwise the motor cuts out.

Thought it was a good little scooter but after 2 1/2 years of use ...
Thought it was a good little scooter but after 2 1/2 years of use the electro magnetic brake has failed, leaving me with a repair bill of approx £100.The scooter has done the equivalent mileage of using it daily for it's maximum range for just under 2 months.

Great smooth ride
Just got this to replace my battered Sterling Pearl Scooter. Only a few days in, but this is so much better than my pervious model. My old one had 3 pins that made connections to the battery that were spring mounted, so sometimes bumps would cause it to cut out which was a right pain in the ass when crossing a street! This handles the tactile paving bumps (used to denote approach to crossing for the blind/visually impaired) at pedestrian crossings really smoothly, my old scooter used to go crazy at this and often cut out. I have nerve pain so any vibration can make this worse, so this is great for me. My one concern is the plastic bed at the back ( the bit that goes over the motor) looks flimsy so I worry getting in and out the car may cause this to break and need an expensive replacement. Will update if I encounter any problems.
