I bought this with the intention of making my own preworkout by opening up the capsules and dissolving whatever amount I wanted in water. However, the powder does NOT properly dissolve and it is NOT flavorless as advertised but in fact incredibly bitter.In previous reviews dated 5 years ago the caffeine was described as flavorless and that it dissolves, my presumption is the company switched to a cheaper not as refined blend.I've noticed this seems to be a common trend among all caffeine products where the most recent reviews state extreme disgust in flavor meanwhile older reviews state flavorless.

I'm actually quite impressed with this caffeine but first let me warn you, it does have an odd flavor/scent underneath the usual bitterness of the caffeine itself that I can't accurately identify or describe, a subtle perfume-ness. I proceeded with caution after reading other reviews that mentioned the gel cap itself might be causing issues. The black gel cap is kinda cool, caffeine bling, but you don't need it anyhow so I just emptied it into a glass of water, the powder is ultra fine and dissolves fast even in cold bottled water, the difference I noticed here right away (as compared to other caffeine I usually buy in bulk powder form) is the water was cloudy but no specks on the bottom of the glass, I take that as good sign, perhaps a finer mesh grade? So a quick chug, expected bitter taste, then, the after taste, hmm what is this, it's not too bad, shrug, ok let's see how I feel:It's a creeper, not a jolter, nice I like that, I'm bright eyed and bushy tailed within a smooth 30 min no problems. I expect 4 hours, I get 6 hours, no crash, no jitters, my brain stayed lit, my body energized, good mood all day, this is great. When your caffeine buzz finally starts to wear off you just need to remember these have a strong half life and might keep you up too late if your timing is off. To be safe I'm sticking to 2 caps a day total to gauge my tolerance to this brand, I'm on day 5 and no side effects so very happy and not losing any sleep.I give these a thumbs up, don't worry about the weird taste, if the gel cap bothers your stomach or leaves a film in your mouth just pop it open use the powder in whatever liquid you tolerate best, chug it like a girl *flex* and make the "that tastes gawd-awful face" and done =)oh and there is no way they are going to keep the price this low , it's good stuff, get yours now before it gets popular and they double the cost LoL!

Just caffeine in them I miss the older tablets that had magnesium in them tho.

I've tried a few different caffeine pills and so far these are the best ones I've found. Some of the others I've tried didn't have the kick of a C-Store cappuccino whereas these you can actually feel something from. Like the others I've tried they are the size of horse pills and you gotta choke em down, but that seems pretty universal.They also seem pretty reasonably priced in relation to many other brands, so it's a win-win with quality and cost.One warning - don't open them up and try to swallow the powder. It won't kill you but the taste will make you wish it did.

NutraFX Caffeine based on my experience is a good choice for energy. For me, it gave me an effect within 30 mins of taking one pill.i tried taking it for a 1-2 week straight of 1 pill everyday and it gave me headaches. The customer service contacted me of how i was doing and they are really helpful to make you happy. They even consult their expert dietician and they told me to try to stop taking for 14 days to restart the CNS.I gave them a good rating because they are really helpful and they really care for their customers. So, the great part is they gave me a refund as a compensation of my experience.But overall review for this product is its really effective and it depends on how you do it, or it depends on your body's reaction to the pills. We all have different body reactions. So, as soon as i restart my CNS, i'll start to take again with one pill and figure out how things are going..I recommend this product to anyone but with caution for the side effects.

I've taken Vivarin and also pre-workout formulas before the workout. This product, however, has had the most intense sweat reaction of anything I've taken. Not sure if it's good or bad, but it definitely doesn't interfere with my workout, and I'm sure to be losing excess total body fat. Just for clarification, I was at 14% body fat and mostly muscle before taking the product. Now, I'm closer to the single-digit results after only a couple of weeks. Definitely worth the money if you want to reduce water fat, perhaps cut some visceral fat, or feel like you've hauled *explicit* with a drenched shirt after a nice workout.

PLEASE, DONT DO WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A GOOD IDEA, AND THATS TO CONSUME 10 OF THESE IN 1 GO... I FELT SO SICK, I WAS SHAKING, EVERYTHING WORRIED ME HALF TO DEATH, AND I FELT LIKE I MIGHT DIE!!! That being said, I do enjoy these, and while I dont get the long lasting effect of most energy drinks, if I need bursts of energy, I pop 2 of these and get done what needs to get done... I bought these because it also saves me like 400-1000$ a month... Considering I consume a lot of caffeine, I recommend these if you want to save money, and get the same energy as an energy drink... I dont recommend breaking these open and consuming the powder raw though, especially with straight water... As it literally is the flavor of "bitter." Also, dont give these to stupid friends as they'll try to snort it, and realize that it doesnt work... XD TO SUM IT ALL UP, SAVE MONEY, GET A SIMILAR ENERGY TO NRG DRINKS, GET THINGS DONE.
