I can't review sturdiness, suction power or adhesion, as this thing never even made it out to my car. I was looking for a small holder for a small car, but this is ridiculous. See the attached pictures. I wish I had another camera so I could show how my Samsung A50 - a very slim phone - does not fit in the notches. A Q-tip fits, but not anything wider. It is also slightly concave, so I doubt it's ability to stick to my dash. Also, being convext would tend to point my phone down, assuming I could fit it in the holder, and as I sit ABOVE the dashboard, I still wouldn't be able to see my phone, defeating the purpose of the holder. I stuck a piece of cardboard in the notches so you can see how it would tilt the phone forward. BTW, I am Ms. Michael F. and I don't have man hands. Yes, this thing is only slightly larger than my palm.

The item works exactly as stated. I like that it holds my charger cord instead of having to fish around my car for it. It also puts my phone at a good visible angle while not impeding my line of sight. I have had an issue with it sitting on my dash during the day, getting hot, and then overheating my phone. I guess I'll just have to start taking it down off my dash every day.

Update: This is what this car holder look like after the summer heat. Still works. But obviously a little messy.I have not tried it out yet because Im a little hesitant about the sticky part. Idk if I want to stick that on the car. Not sure if I should keep it or return it.

I purchased the KHTONE Car Phone Holder, Car Phone Dashboard Pad Mat Anti-Slip Hand-Free Car Phone Mount for use in a 2016 Honda Civic Sedan. It is used with an iPhone XS Max with an OtterBox Symmetry+Pop Series case. The phone is secured nicely and fits well. It allows me to position the phone such that I can use the navigation function on the phone without taking my eyes off the road. The phone holder has a sticky adhesive on its base which adheres to the dash surface, but can be removed and cleaned. It is holding well and has not allowed the holder to slip from its position.

I have tried the clip on vent phone holders, the two piece magnetic ones, and the cupholder unit with the bendable stalk and swivel to hold my phone but they all stink! I bought this and at first, I wasn't sure whether it was going to work. I installed it, and during a road trip, I actually peeled it back up and moved it closer to the steering wheel so that I could see the screen better. Removal was easy, no glue residue, and stuck right back down on a different spot on the dashboard of our truck.

I bought this for use at home during cooking and video call with my family. This made my cooking sessions easy to not have to lift the phone frequently and keep in one place. I also used it in a rental car for my recent trip and since it is big and on the dashboard in front of me, I didn't forget this holder like my previous.

I made this purchase out of frustration. I use Map/GPS Apps when I travel. I couldn’t find a phone holder that I could mount, have stability, clear viewing and the ability to charge while using. This Car Phone Mount Does It All. I drive a Chevrolet Equinox and have the mount on my dashboard angled forward by the driver. Simple and Perfect and it does the job.
