See through
These are nice leggings, look cute on. But they are certainly not squat proof. I'm lucky I checked before I started my deadlifts! You get what you pay for I guess.

I would definitely try these
I originally bought the black pair with the cut outs on the thighs and wasn't the biggest fan of them. The waist band went up to my chest and the cut outs make me look and feel much shorter. So I bought the black and red pair without cut outs. These have a shorter waist band which is nice but they aren't as stretchy. A small in the first pair fit good and these are just a tad bit tight due to not being as stretchy. These also still seem to be squat proof even after squeezing into them so that's good. I'm looking to lose weight so I'm not gonna exchange for a bigger size because these are just barely too small and a couple pounds lighter and they'll fit perfectly. So maybe wearing them will stretch out a little more too...due to the lack of super stretchiness these were a little harder to put on, I ran out of stretch in my thigh area but these look really good on. I'm 5'2 and I have to roll the ends to make them more Ankle length but I do that with all of my leggings.

Gym shark- who?!
If you own a pair of expensive gym shark performance leggings and own these leggings, you would not be able to tell the difference. I ordered XS and had to return them for a S. I am 5’4 117lbs. Once you get them on, which is a like putting on a tougher version of pantyhose, these leggings give all the support in the right areas. I’ve worked out in them twice so far. They are my new fav pair. Do not hesitate to get these. Great quality! 😄 Very pleased.

NOT sweat-proof :(
Unfortunately, despite the few reviews on sweat-proof-ability here, this product is NOT at all sweat-proof. Wore it once to the gym for a regular UPPER body sess, A/C in the gym in on full force, my sweat level is moderate to high, and: after not even 40min there were lines as long and mighty as the Mississippi around my knees, crotch, and my behind. I do wear underwear under my gym clothes and yes, after the sweat-attack the lines were 100% visible. It's really too bad bc the pants are absolutely adorable, great fit, color, fabric and fantastic price. I can't be wearing these to an actual workout, though. Not unless I'd want the entire gym check out my "wet spots" LOL. Funny thing: the day I wore these pants another woman was wearing them as well (same color), she was doing a very moderate lower body workout and later told me she had to stop after just a few minutes and change pants, because she felt "irritably exposed" by the sweat marks.... I'll have to reduce the usage of these pants to "winter" and "outdoors" only. Despite the fashion holes, the heavy fabric will keep you warm - that's for sure ;) ... maybe even good underneath ski clothes?

Nice fit
i really like the contoured fit .. very breathable, hugs the tummy section. The only thing I would say that I didn’t like was that it was very noticeable in the crouch area .. it’s seamless and the fabric is not cheap, but is sorta see threw .. not squat proof

Just okay
You know why these caught your eye. Because that "other" brand is too expensive and these pants are too cute. But they also run large and are not square proof. I bought the red ones in a medium, and they feel like a large. Nothing is being compressed. I just feel like I am wearing smooth tights. Not even leggings or stretch pants, but tights.
