Great display of photos and user friendly
I turn this photo frame on nearly every day. I also continue to add photos and it seems to have an endless ability to accept so many photos. I enjoyed my frame so much, I purchased one for my mother as well.

Great Picture - If You Can Figure It Out!
I wanted a digital frame simply to cycle at random through thousands of jpg stills and I wanted a motion sensor to start it up. This product filled the bill just fine with a couple of caveats.First the good:* The picture quality is absolutely first-rate. Pixel sharp against the original. Colors are balanced and not overly-saturated. Their resizing algorithms do a fine job with quality (but also see below in the not-so-good).* The motion sensor autostart works great (if you can figure it out, see below).* It has no trouble addressing many gigabytes of storage and accepts many many types of memory peripherals.* I tried some videos just for fun (.mov) and they also looked great and the sound was fine.* It has not, to date, crashed or locked up on me.Now the not-so-good:* It included what must have been the rough draft of the user’s manual. The Technical Specs section has a list of “support picture formats” but they are all audio formats such as MP3, FLAC, ACC etc. So there is no list at all of acceptable formats. From playing with it I found it reads better than 99% of my jpg and tiff files just fine and that’s pretty much all I care about. There are a few jpg’s it won’t read that others will but it eventually skips the offending file and carries on just fine. Won’t read a psd file. The “support audio format” where that information should be just states the number of pixels on the device. A bigger issue is that it has no explanation of the menu items. Now if you’ve owned digital frames before and/or you’re good with consumer electronics you can pretty well figure out what they all do. But if you’re new to these it might take some time when they could have simply told you. At this time there is no downloadable manual from the manufacture’s website.* They give you several (unexplained) choices for resizing images for the frame and they all do what they say they will and, as I mentioned above, they do a great job at maintaining image quality. But they are missing the one I like most – expand to edge. That means that the image will be enlarged or shrunk with no stretching until either the vertical or horizontal extent touches the two sides without cropping. The best they have for me is to touch on one side but crop the other to fill the frame. I’m trying to avoid cropping but it’s not a big deal since it doesn’t do much cutting.* Now the one that really annoys me – they want to bribe you for a good review. I attached a couple of shots. So before you believe all of the 5-star glowing reviews, keep this in mind. Since this review has pictures I’ll apply for two gifts and see if I get them! But to be clear it does what I need and I’m for sure keeping it despite the idiosyncrasies.

Beautiful picture but with a couple of annoying flaws
My original digital picture frame, which I loved, decided after 10 years that it had enough and died. After several days of searching I decided to give this picture frame a try since it was a large screen, in HD and the right price. Overall I'd say this is a good frame. It's easy to program to set the time, date, the way you want your pictures displayed, automatic on and off times, etc. And the resolution is gorgeous. Even pictures I took years ago with an old crappy camera look great. Now the annoying flaws. I have had to go into the settings several times to reset the time and the date. I was getting really annoyed that the frame would just turn off by itself in the middle of the day and figured there was something wrong with it when I discovered the time and date had reset to factory settings so the programmed on/off times I'd set were all out of whack. There was no power outage in my house so there's no reason why the time and date should be whipped out. No other settings changed. So I've had to reset the date and time numerous times so the frame turns on and off when I want it to.The other thing which is even more annoying...... the frame will just randomly decide not to recognize the USB flash drive which holds all the pictures. I'll look up and see the "desktop" of the frame with the icons and a notification that there is "no disc" in the frame above the Music icon. There is no "disc" because I have a USB flash drive inserted for pictures, not music, which the frame usually recognizes with "USB" above the Photo icon. But for some reason, the frame will randomly decide not to recognize it even though no one has removed it.In order to see my pictures again I have to power off the frame manually by turning it off using the on/off switch on the back. Powering it down with the remote does not work. Sometimes even turning it off doesn't work. On those occasions, I have to not only turn it off but remove the flash drive completely, before turning it back on again. This has worked every time. But it's a pain because I bought the flash drive suggested with the frame and it's one of those teeny ones and it's is damnably hard to remove. Having to do this several times a week is, to be honest, a total pain in the butt.I'm keeping the frame because at this point I've had it several weeks and I can't return it and also because, when it does work, it's great and the pictures look fantastic. I just wish I didn't have to fight with it several times a week.
