1st Bike Helmet...ever!
OK, so I went ahead and decided, after reading many articles on wearing a bicycle helmet, that maybe it was a good idea. Actually I reluctantly went ahead with the purchase thinking I'd most likely return it. One nice aspect of amazon is that there are so many to compare at so many price points with a variety of designs, colors and $$'s.I read reviews here and continued to read articles and reviews off amazon. I compared the helmets size, cost, and construction to the motorcycle helmets I've owned and I couldn't see where the very high cost was justified for some of these Bicycle helmets. Initially I thought I'd buy something in the $50/100 range. More research, more comments, more opinions, more research stats...and I wound up with this one. I figured I wouldn't like it...actually figured I wouldn't like any helmet and wind up returning it. Fast forward...It arrives and I make an agreement with myself to give it a fair chance. I'd never held one previously.... thought they looked kinda... well you know. Anyway, after figuring out how to fit the helmet by moving the straps around, don't cut any strap until you've got it fitted properly, I held my breath, put it on and figured I'd have to give it a trial run before I re-pack & return it. Surprise! Short trip, kinda interesting, not as "invasive" as I expected. Need a longer ride before I return it...clearly I won't use the magnetic visor. So, took the bike over to a nearby park with long paved and unpaved trails. Took the Visor as it was a sunny day. About a 2 hour ride on paved & unpaved trails, under trees, up-n-down hills, wore the Visor too...Final thoughts as I was loading the bIke onto the Bike carrier: Much better than I ever imagined. Very light. Good visibility. Visor is nice to have & use. Very comfortable too. As a result, I'm a convert to the very practical idea of wearing a bicycle helmet... and I'm surprised I just wrote that sentence. One caveat though, make sure you've got the helmet fitted properly. The path that the helmet straps take, when you're adjusting the length, can take some time and patience. Again, don't Cut off any strap length until it's finally fitted to you. I like & recommend this helmet.

Survived an accident... helmet did it’s job.
This helmet is lightweight and breathable. I think I have a larger head and it fits comfortably. I really appreciate the moisture wicking chin-strap. I was recently involved in a nasty accident and hit a stone barrier. Given the severity of the accident, first responders where marveled that there was no head or neck trauma. Looking over it, there was no cracks or dents. There is a slight scratch on the visor. The accident got me good, but this helmet allowed me to come back and leave a review. Don’t let people fool you, wear a helmet. Wear this helmet and live to see another day!

REALLY nice helmet
This helmet is lightweight and really allows air to come in. Also I love the padded chin strap. I have a large head, but the adjuster works great. The light is good too, and even an extra battery. The sun shade is why I bought this helmet. It hooks on with magnets and it goes over my glasses. It's easy to pull off the magnets and turn around the other direction when you don't need it. I can do it with one hand. It comes with a protective bag for the sun shades, and a bag to store the helmet in to keep it clean when you aren't wearing it with straps that you can just use to hang it on your handlebars. All in all this was an excellent choice.Fast forward to 2021........I have since bought 2 more helmets, and guess what. I have not only come back to this one, but bought another one. I like my helmet to match my bike, but alas there is no coral version of this, so I bought a black one. And I just found out there's a clear shield, which I bought to use when it's raining. Easier to wipe rain off this than my glasses. I REALLY REALLY love this helmet. It's lightweight and airy and lets air in, but it does it's job. I had to toss a $189 helmet after falling and bashing my head. My head was fine thanks to wearing a helmet, but one should never use a helmet again after a bad crash on it. LOVE this helmet.

Lightweight, comfortable fit
Got this last weekend and it fits like a charm. Has the chin strap with adjustable clasps to make it fit right around the ears. Also has the wheel to tighten the circumference of the head. Between the two it feels snug and doesn't give much but isn't suffocating. The chin strap comes with a soft piece of fabric to cover the strap by the chin. I have never had one of these, but so far has a nice feel. I will see how it feels after a long ride. Snaps off, so it I don't like it I can just remove it. The strap clasps that hold the straps around the ears are a little loose. I had to readjust them a couple times to get it right. Very light weight so it doesn't feel like you are wearing anything at all which I love. Last piece I really like is the flashing light on the back. My city isn't that bike friendly so every bit of safety help I can get is really important. Even came with a spare battery.

Good value for the money
Product arrived on time. I was initially impressed until I looked at the inner helmet padding. There's not much there as it is thin strips of fabric padding and I mean thin. However, the helmet still feels comfortable. Another issue is the stick on velcro pads used to secure the padding in place. Nearly all came out of the helmet when I removed the padding. I was able to stick them back onto the helmet but this should not have happened on day 1. Insufficient glue was used and not enough velcro strips were used. The buckle on the chin strap is poorly placed and can be irritating. I have gone out riding with it yet, but feel that it will provide adequate protection should you take a fall. You are able to wear glasses when using the face shield. The face shield is said to be scratch resistant, but I doubt it. The magnets are strong enough to keep it in place whether in use or stowed on top of the helmet. The helmet was supposed to come with a rear light but arrived without it. I haven't reached out to the seller yet, but overall feel that this is still a good value despite the quality short comings. We see how good their customer service is which I will update once I've either been contacted or get a response.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.

Good value - but what a pity
Its a good helmet and VFM- What a pity they don't appear to provide an optional to purchase clear visor. Not all countries have consistent bright sunshine- in the UK its rare so the visor is often to dark to have clear safe vision.Perhaps they do but how do you contact them? Also a one size fits all is tricky -providing two sizes would be an improvement even if it costs a bit more.

Good quality cycling helmet
Beautiful cycling helmet. If I had one criticism it would be that the strap under the chin is not the most comfortable I’ve ever used. But, would I buy the same again? Yes I would 👍
