Best trigger point release ball out there
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I run about 15 miles a week, and I find that longer foam rollers really don't dig into my piriformis, hamstrings, and TFL the way that I need. I tried 5" foam ball that was okay, but something was still missing. The 6" size of this, plus the nubs, makes this the best trigger point release ball out there, in my opinion. I don't receive free items, so you can trust that this review is real.

I thought it would be more effective than the foam roller but it isn't. For me it is better to massage calfs with the foam roller than the ball

Inaccurate description and cause of possible damage.
First of all, this is not a foam roller. To the contrary, it is a hard plastic ball with thin, colored foam overlays on it. The overlays have soft foam nubs that frankly don’t serve much of a purpose as they are small and quite soft. Second, the black lines you see between the colored overlays are raised, hard plastic ridges....and here in lies the issue. I just received the roller today and consistent with the packaging and instructions, I placed the roller on a wooden chair and attempted to rollout some trigger points in my gluts. After a minute of rolling I looked down and noticed that the raised plastics ridges had deeply marred and permanently damaged the chair. I’m 160 and it’s not like the chair is soft pine for God sake. The inaccurate description and erroneous instructions caused me to ruin a $600 chair....and I’m sure it would do similar if used on a hardwood floor for instance. So buyer beware and be careful when and how you use. And if the seller is reading the reviews, I would ask that you modify the description and instructions....and I would appreciate a refund!

NO INSTRUCTIONS, but otherwise a great big massage ball
I am extremely happy with the ball itself. I know many people want the 3 or 4 inch ball, but I like this one is bigger. It probably won't get deeper in the tissue due to being larger, but it is still awesome. I knocked it down a star because it comes WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS. A person can hurt themselves massaging themselves incorrectly, but probably not with this ball. Still, the consumer needs more than the very short instructions on three sides of the box. Fortunately, other massage balls have pictures or better instructions on their amazon page or the company's website. The ball itself seems to be a hollow plastic ball with foam sections attached to it. I have no idea how durable it will be, but I don't expect my exercise equipment to last forever. I go through shoes and other equipment fairly regularly if it isn't weights or a machine. I am excited I have it and intend to search the web for more ideas on how to use it. I recommend the company provide more instructions and warnings. Your website is incredibly lacking, anyway, adding videos would make it more appealing and help sell your products.

Bigger than I anticipated (should have thought this through) so not sure that it will be of any use to me (not sure where it would work - already have a roller).

Perfect nubs and material, wish it also came in smaller sizes
Love that the nubs are dense foam rather than hard plastic and that they are ROUNDED instead of spiky; I'm not trying to torture myself. I like the larger size of it, which is good for the upper legs and glutes, but I wish it also came in smaller sizes to get into smaller places like the neck.

Very useful tool for many different people
So useful for preworkout or post workout massaging. I even had a few friends use this for various pains they had and it helped! The key is getting online and learning how to use it correctly.

Well, it IS round.
Not a whole lot to say. It is a very hard ball. Not something you'd throw at someone, LOL. Dog thought it was for him. Certainly nice and firm for muscle use. Does what it is meant to do.
