I really love the feel of these head sets.It seems that on PC, these do not work well at all. There is a ton of feedback noise. It also sounds like the headphones are in mono sound only, unless you press and hold the headphones button on the cord.Playing music via a phone or mp3 player seems fine, but not really what I bought this for.... Should work for PC.If you are looking for headphones for a PC, don't get these.

Thankfully I received these for less than half the price they are being sold for on Amazon. Save yourself some money and just tape some laptop speakers to your ears instead. Audio quality is poor to mediocre at best. I'm not much of an audiophile but I know what muddy, bassless audio sounds like, and you will get plenty of that with these. Ended up giving them to a friend. Look elsewhere folks. Save yourself the money. Not worth the $30 I got them for and definitely not worth the $75 being sold for on Amazon.

My woman always was borrowing my Monster Inspirations while complaining how big they are! LOL I got her these and they sound amazing and now she doesnt steal mine. AND these are way cheaper than the full version over ear version I have.

A fantastic set of headphones!! Some may consider the price to be high, but once you slip these phones onto your head and turn on your sounds, I guarantee that over 95% of audiophiles will be pleased with the sound waves that meet their ears....I am sooooooooo pleased with my Monsters, that I'm not sure where to begin in singing their praise/attributes... I shall refer to the quality of the sound again. Although my comments will not include 'technical' terminology/references, such as soundstage, treble, highs, lows and everything else that I often see mentioned in user reviews, what I can say is that the second I plugged these phones into my ipod, my first thoughts were..."the search is over". I could feel my face stretch as my smile broadened with every note that was played. The sound level/amplification of the Monsters is so capable that every lyric and instrument can be heard at even the lowest volume. I don't really listen to bass-heavy music, but I noticed the bass that was played did not dominate with these phones. There is no echo, weak or distant sound quality, that can occur with some phones, in any of the music I listened to with the Monsters. Everything just sounds very good, clear and rendered well, straight out of the box, with no 'burning-in' required. Well, not to my ears!So, moving on... The phones, and their packaging.The Monsters are well packaged in a lovely grey/black 'folding' box which closes with a magnetic tab and ribbon attachment. On opening the box you will find the nicely folded headphones under a layer of black spongy padding. Next to the headphones is another small, oblong box, about 4 inches in length. This contains the Monster's black suèdette travel case and 2 x headphone cables (flat plastic type) - one with controls (for ipod), the other a sharing cable, so a mate can plug in to your phones and share the love and music alongside you.... Also within the box is a micro fibre cloth (antimicrobial). A nice touch, I do believe.There is also a little yellow note from Monster, in the box, encouraging the purchaser to register their product in order to receive updates and 'Monster' special offers..... One other thing is these cans are quite heavy, in my opinion. The packaging blurb describes them as 'LITE'. Well, in my opinion again, they aren't really that light. I'm sure there are heavier cans on the market, but when you lift these up to wear them, their weight certainly does not go amiss!! However their weight does not detract from one's musical enjoyment too much.Would also like to add that I tried cans by Philips (L2 Fidelio); AKG (545); Philips (O'Neill JD Stretch); Klipsch (Status). The Monsters left all of these standing in every area. I purchased the Klipsch to replace a pair of Klipsch ONE phones I have had for the past 3 years, but whose cables are starting to harden and split, thus leaving the inner wires visible (all looks very untidy).All in all, and to bring this review to a close, I can say that I am over the moon with my Xmas present to myself, and I do believe that anyone else fortunate to receive this product will be equally as pleased, if not more so. And so I will end my review by saying.... The Monster Lites are not only an 'inspiration', but also a 'revelation' to boot! These cans ARE worth EVERY penny....!!!

These headphones work wonders on your music but fail on comfort. The headband is seriously over-engineered. It's heavy and clamps around your head until your ears cramp up and you get a headache. (FYI, I am a 29-year old female with small hair and a medium-sized head.) Had to return them and get a pair of Sennheisers instead.

Great sound.. but they last you, whatever you do, no matter how much care you put.. at most 1 year.. They break easily..I NEVER fold them yet they cracked. The leather is so thin.. and it wares out soooo fast..Good sound, worst materials!

Bought it for noise cancellation function for travel. It is bulky and heavy and not comfortable on my ears after a while. Hence have to give this up! Otherwise I think it is not bad if one doesn't mind the weight.

Sound quality and style are great but found, even though I have what I thought was a normal head size, that after a short time they were too tight to be comfortable.
