4-5-6 Card Game

I bought this game for kids that I work with as a teacher assistant. I work with kindergarten/first grade students, and they LOVE the game. I actually use it as a reward at the end of the week. All week the kids try there best with me because they want to play the game on Fridays. The kids love it!!!!! I only wish there were decks 7-8-9. Working with students I have learned that even the older elementary kids would love this game if there were cards for their levels. Come on Whizzle, make some more levels!!! I would recommend this game to anyone who would like to help their own children with reading. Several teachers at my school also uses this game in their classroom...it's Awesome. I own levels 1-6!

This is a wonderful way to work on phonics skills that are so important to learning to read. I teach second grade and my students beg to play this game. They are also learning other skills in addition to phonics. They are learning to what I call "play fair". They must take turns, and not cheat. These are skills that many second graders need to learn. Perfect game for teaching many skills.

These are great for my first grade students. They learn new skills while playing a game!

I'm a reading tutor. I end each session with a game. These card games are basic but fun.

Really reinforces the phonics/decoding skills being taught. Kids are excited to play the games.
