An electric blanket addict all my life ... decided to go the hot water bottle route when the elements in my (expensive) electric blanket scorched my sheets and mattress. Could have caused a house fire (according to hubs). Although not quite the same, I'm very pleased with this. I put it in the bed half an hour before I go to bed and it warms up a good length of the bed and then when I'm in and reading, I have it against my back. A bit pricey, but with the knitted, washable cover, to me, well worth it. Also has the BS compliance mark, which is a must.

We call this Long Sausage! I bought it as a surprise gift for my friend because she's always cold at work. Everyone marvels at it's length, much longer than any I've seen in the shops! It takes a whole kettle full of water and stays warm for ages! The knitted cover is really stylish and soft. Would highly recommend this to anyone!

This was a gift for a friend of mine who is always cold, I saw some of these in a garden centre before so I knew what they were all about, was slightly disappointed that they didn’t come in a box to make it look more presentable as a gift like the ones at the same price in the garden centre

This is absolutely loved by my partner, she loves how long it is so it covers more of the body to keep her lovely and warm in bed and sat on the sofa.

Although very happy to begin with, so much so I purchased several more for my family, 2 years 2 months later and mine has a hole where the rubber had perished. The natural rubber used although makes the bottle great for contouring on body parts isn’t as strong as I would have liked. I still have old bottles from my days at uni and that was decades ago and they are still good. I first noticed little bits of rubber on emptying about a month ago and didn’t think much of it as all previous regular bottles have done the same after a period of time. Thankfully I noticed the hole before filling as it was right below the neckline. I know things nowadays aren’t built to last but I expected a bit better for something this basic.

Doesn’t work for me, ended up more difficult to use (period pains) than a regular hot water bottle
