Really Bright
I didn't have the hardware issues I read in the reviews. This unit required no assembly other than adding the clamp and the hanger. I can see how repeated tightening or overtightening of the angle and clamp/hanger knobs could strip them out but 10 cents worth of nut and bolt would fix it. However mine stays hanging from the frame of a metal gazebo so I can grill after dark. In Texas it's dark early way before it's too cold.I'm happy with it. Lights up a decent size area, doesn't get hot and stays put in a stiff breeze. And if you want a really bright work light for cheap, this is the one.

Don't look at it! It's a portable sun!
This thing is bright and will definitely leave a strong afterimage if you accidentally look at it while turned on.Bought to replace a smart electrician clamp LED light that had a plastic weak spot that broke and is no longer available. This one has all metal frame and comes partially disassembled. You will probably need tools to assemble because the rubber dip protective layer plugs some of the holes you need to use to connect. I was going to use a tap to rethread, but the bolts are M6-1.0 (metric) and I didn't have a metric tap and die set, so I clamped onto the thumb nobs and forced it to make threads. Used pliers on the bolt for similar reason. The diagram is indispensable for assembly, which is a bit tricky (the mounts are not exactly the same and work best only one way). I'm not confident that a bolt and nut without a lock washer will hold together well over time on a swivel joint, but I did add some blue lock tite on it.Glad this thing is plug-in rather than rechargeable, a feature getting harder and harder to find. The clamp spring is very strong and may require both hands to open reasonably wide. And that's a good thing as the rubber coating together with tight grip seem to allow clipping the light to things that it might otherwise slide off. The cord could be a tad bit longer, but you're going to use an extension cord anyway so this is nitpicky. Directing the light directly at your work area is not too critical because the light is so bright it lights pretty well even indirect reflective light. Can't speak to durability as I have used for less than a week.

Pricey but wow! Nice Lifetime tool.
Really my favorite pick out maybe a hundred different ones I looked at. I wanted my "last" ever, do all flood light to replace my old halogen of 20 years (rip ol yeller) . Versatile clamp, hook, leg design, folds compact nearly flat, SUPER bright, brighter than the 500 halogen but wait... It doesn't get hot AF, and uses only like 12 watts, so it works off a cheap $20 12v cigarette lighter plug inverter no problem! I love everything about this light except the price !

So far, so good
I bought this to light up a room for housework duties. It’s great for that; I hook it in the room where I am working (or the basement when I am cleaning there), and I can see details. I use low lighting in my living space (Edison bulbs), so this is a great solution.

Poor Quality Control
The clamp bracket wasn't threaded and the mounting holes on the clamp weren't drill out to attach to the clamp to the bracket

Really bright
The light is much brighter than I was expecting. One major problem: The threads and wholes were terribly manufactured with flash that impeded the assembly & required a lot of strength & tenacity to fit them together. A weaker person may not be able to assemble the light or work the tight clamp.

I think it's a very good product.
I like it! The threads of the screw bolts and the receivers tend to cross thread very easily so be very careful when sending them through.

Bright
I basically have the same review as everyone else... very bright, the hanger and clamp suck.

Broken used it twice
Lights bright..but the threads that hold the mounts to body of light are stripped...cannot tighten em... leaving a useless floppy ..light...I would say pass on this one people.....too cheap..I'm going to try and return it
