Bought this as a Christmas present. The tins are handy and keep the spices fresh. The spices themselves are delicious, and have changed the way we cook meals. We have since bought more to top up our tins.

This is a great box of spices. However I don't really think it's value for money.

I love these spices. They're slightly more expensive than the seasonings that one could buy in supermarkets, but it's a gift to myself and I deserve it :-)Only issue is that the box appeared to be tampered with (see pic). If this were a gift for someone else, I'd be annoyed by that.

These spices are now my go-to whenever I make curries at home. All the flavour without the calories (and grease!) of a takeaway, these are also great if you are following Slimming World as they are syn-free!

Update - I have been back to get more. These packets offer great convenience and hold enough to make several meals each, subject to the numbers you are catering for. I either decant into a plastic box or use a clip to keep the unused quantity fresh after opening and either works well. The smell doesn’t diminish and neither does the taste. It is just a pity that, getting from Amazon, the letterbox sized container seems to always be shipped inside another box, so it doesn’t go through the letterbox.Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx original review xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxThis is a set of four different packets of spices - Tandoori Masala, Korma, Bhuna and Goan - which are designed to make life easier when you want to cook a spicy meal but don’t want some of the hassle associated with several different packets of stuff needing to be mixed together. The mixing is done for you and it is a simple matter of adding the requisite amount to your dish, depending on number of people/quantity being cooked.Each pack has a simple recipe printed on the back and this letterbox set also has a recipe leaflet containing a few more suggestions.The packs are each 40g and contain 8 servings, so you will need to pop any balance in an airtight container once opened, unless you are cooking for lots of people, of course.This is a good option if you haven’t cooked for a while and want a bit of help, or even just when you want an easy meal and don’t want to mix the necessary spices or don’t have everything you need to hand. The set I received have 8 months shelf life although the aroma of spices you get even when the packs are sealed will probably ensure they don’t hang around that long.

Bought as a Christmas present for my sister who likes to cook and she loves it!The spices smelt amazing and the packets were easy to store.Would definitely recommend the post box version over the gift set if you are just wanting to appreciate the flavours
