Miracle? Maybe so!
This is my 3rd pregnancy. My first one I was blessed and had no pelvic or back pain. My second one, I wasn't so lucky. I had pelvic pain, on top of which I injured myself chasing after a new puppy. Yes, you heard me right. We decided to buy a puppy while I was pregnant with my second child. My pelvis was never the same after that injury. Though bearable after I gave birth. My 3rd pregnancy, I'm lucky enough to have terrible pelvic pain on top of sciatic pain. I'm only 26 weeks in. I was walking 5 days a week in early pregnancy, but then terrible hip pain started, along with the other 2 pains, and after walking, I literally felt crippled. Unable to lift my legs past a certain height without severe pain. I asked my doctor what I could try, because I want to stay active, but can't take care of 2 toddlers, a dog, and a house feeling crippled. He said I could try a belly band, which I was sceptical of, and I could try stretching. Which, I'll admit, I was even more skeptical of...probably cause I didn't want to do it. I decided to give the belly band a shot, and this one had the best reviews and a great price. I didn't want to spend a ton on something if I wasn't sure it was gonna work.It came in the mail today. There are no instructions on how to put the thing on. Though I was able to figure it out easy enough by looking at the picture. It is comfortable. True to size. I wore it directly on my skin, and while it's not the softest thing ever, it didn't bother me, and I have fairly sensitive skin. Ladies, I literally wore this thing for a couple of hours tonight, just to experiment with it, and my pelvis pain is gone. That's right. Gone. Now don't get me wrong. I still have that feeling that if move in the wrong way, my pelvis might separate. Maybe it's that feeling of looseness? I don't know for sure. I mean, I wouldn't try doing step aerobics or anything, but I could put my undies on without grabbing on to something for support -for fear of breaking in half. That is amazing in it of itself. Tomorrow (if it doesn't rain), I'm gonna take a chance walking again, and I will update my review on how well it helped me with that. All in all, I'm quite impressed. I can't believe just how much this has helped. Totally worth the money. If you're debating like I was, take the chance. In all likelihood, you'll be happy you did!3/31/18I never updated after my walk, and just wanted to say this product really did help! I was still a little sore after those walks, but I was pregnant and pushing a double stroller up and down hills for a few miles, so I'll take a little sore, over feeling crippled. I'm now on my 4th pregnancy, and won't hesitate to use this product if needed again. I will say too, using it consistently in times of strain, kept me from having to use it on a daily basis. Would buy it again! You should too!

Amazing product with a couple drawbacks...
This belly band is AWESOME! It really changed my comfort and energy level after I began using it! My doctor suggested a belly band in general, and it took about 6 weeks before I finally gave in and spent the money. I love that this is such a quality product for such an affordable price! The elastic and supports are made from thick and sturdy fabric pieces. At first I thought that the dual Velcro system was a little cumbersome, but using the inner band provides much additional support. We just moved, and my w/d isn't set up yet, so I haven't tried washing it yet, but I am fairly sure that it will hold up in a spin cycle!Occasionally the rough Velcro side will run against me, but that is because I like to cinch the belt as tightly as possible, and the thicker part of the band will fold over.My other complaint about this product is that using the toilet can get annoying, because the upper part of the band overlaps the top of my panties.Overall though, this is a life changing product that I would recommend to EVERY preggie out there!

Surprisingly comfortable
I’m really not sure how some people rated this so poorly. I did a lot of research and read a lot of negative and positive reviews. Pros: Soft material, lots of Velcro, looks just like the picture. Don’t rely on the instructions. Very small writing, barely makes sense and extremely hilarious! Took 10 minutes to figure out how to put it on. Right now I am 161 lbs at 34 weeks. Pre pregnancy I am 135lbs and 5’7. I got the medium and it fits perfectly. Some people said that it caused bruising and made their back pain worse. Maybe I could see that if the band was wayyyyy too tight? It’s meant to be a support, not a compression band. This might also be why people were complaining about the velcro not sticking.I also read some reviews about how people couldn’t use the bathroom. I went to the bathroom just fine while wearing it. I also wore it right on my skin and felt fine and comfortable. I’m going to try to wear it to work tomorrow on top of a tank top but under my work shirt. I live in the north so I’m able to do that this time of year.I gave one star off because of the horrible/hilarious instructions. Probably better off just not even having any haha! Looks like it was translated to English from a different language.I will probably provide an update and pictures later after longer wear.

For the price: Does what it's supposed to do, but with flaws.
(04/18/2016) First part of the review 3.5 stars at 25 weeks. I work full-time as a CNA on an acute care floor of a hospital, and wear this belt to work. I have had lots of round ligament pain and cramps since the first trimester. After wearing it for a few weeks I'm going to tentatively say that I like it. You definitely must wear it over something light like a cami or a tank top otherwise it is scratchy on the skin.. It gives great support that I can feel when it's missing, but it also pushes baby up higher in my body. I feel indigestion more, meals need to be smaller, and my breathing is a bit more labored due to baby pushing up. I also notice the back panel is beginning to develop creases which need to be pulled on, and continually fixed. I do however like it over the "prenatal cradle" which loops around the belly and goes up around the neck. I get more support under the belly without needing to wear a shirt to cover the straps. This item does what it was designed to do. It holds my belly up, and I experience only a fraction of the round ligament pain that I did before. I will try to update this review as I get bigger, but pregnancy brain may make me forget ;)
