Very useful. Doesn't take al lot of space to store.

Use the smaller shovel to empty the ash opening in my BGE; does a great job.

Wish it was one grade of steel thicker for durability. Such small shovel that weight doesn’t matter. Appreciate the predrilled hole in handle.

Very poor quality overall. Arrived chipped and paint flakes off at the slightest touch. Wood is extremely brittle and marred, splitting, crudely made of poor quality. Overall very flimsy and not worth the money.

These are lightweight short-handled metal shovels. The wider one would make a fine shop dustpan, but they would work fine for their theoretical purpose of moving fireplace ash. I actually got them for removing fine dirt from my crawlspace, where there's just no room for a normal-sized shovel. These aren't as heavy-duty as a garden spade, go figure, but they're tougher than a kid's plastic shovel or a a snow shovel meant for a car trunk. Good value for the money.

I use this shovel to clean out a very large animal cage and I love it. It is very sturdy, picks up a lot at one time, and has a straight edge for getting in corners. Perfect!!
