Best lens for your Sony full frame. I am using this with my Sony A7iii for bird photography and results are amazing. Very sharp and crisp images will be captured. If you have higher resolution cameras you can crop to cover more.Best lens for Sony lovers.

Amazing lens, Great image quality. Build feels really good. Autofocus could be faster but I am using it on the original A7 so it is probably faster on one of the new models.Only real downside is the tripod collar not being included, not much of a issue when using handheld but is unbalanced on a tripod when mounted at the camera.

Delivery….. 1* came in a ripped paper bag with sigma box clearly visible, glad we had a honest courier. I’ve had a toothbrush better packed.Lens 5* may be a bit heavier then what I’m use to (Tamron 28-75) but it’s worth it for the extra reach. I was debating this or the Tamron 70-300 having owned a sigma 50mm f1.4 before I was dupeus about getting another sigma because I didn’t like the busy background it had, but after watching and reading about this lens I thought I would take the plunge and I’m glad I did. Lens stabilisation works really well handheld but like I said it’s a lot heavier then I thought.

Lovely sharp lens, great value for a 400mm zoom lens at this price. It's not small and it's got a little heft to it, so this is lens you bring with you when you have a certain type of shot in mind

Image quality is outstanding and the autofocus is very good. Have handheld 400mm for video of butterflies and bees and it followed with no problem.

We brought this for our son who is really getting into photography and the shots he is getting are amazing, I know nothing about photography but he seems to think even though it was a lot of money its was money well spent

Fantastic lens, really sharp

This lens is fantastic and I absolutely recommend purchasing it ... just not from amazon. I believe the Sony equivalent is optically superior, but this lens has 2 major advantages - cost and weight.Sigma UK are very kindly offering 3 years warranty (this reflects the build quality of the lens), unfortunately when I applied for this I was told it was not a UK sourced lens and therefore didn't qualify - and looking at the packaging more closely it appears Amazon have provided me a German sourced lens.If you care about the warranty buy this from a reputable UK camera store. If you don't care about warranty buy it from a Hong Kong online shop and get a much better price.
