Kids love this device. So glad we bought it to make home made uncrustables. Great purchase.

So my 6 year old is obsessed with the uncrustables, and I mean OBSESSED! I’ve bought no telling how many boxes but I’m starting to think I should have bought some stock in them beforehand 😂 With that being said, I was looking for a more cost efficient way to deal with her “slight” addiction. So me being a frugal mom, I jumped on amazon and started scouting something out that could help me with this mission. I’m gonna tell y’all now, she has no idea that the ones I make using this nifty little gadget aren’t the name brands. She thinks I’m the coolest mom because “I’ve found her sandwiches in all sorts of flavors.” I can now switch it up between different flavors of jelly and fillings. I’ve even used turkey and cheese with this thing with a little mayo to hold it all together. But if you use a meat, I’d recommend trimming it down a little more than the cutter itself. I’ve even gone as far as making mini pizza pockets with this contraption. Fill your bread with a little sauce, cheese, and mini pepperoni, seal that sucker, then slap it in a buttered frying pan to toast! I usually make a weeks worth for her school lunches and stick them in the freezer for the week ahead. But I digress. Anyways, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this to any mom with a child who enjoys their uncrustables. This thing makes sandwiches for the littles!

This is an easy enough tool for anyone to use. I tried it with two pieces of thicker sliced bread and jam but it did not attach the two breads together successfully because the layers were too thick for the metal to go through. Using a thin bread type will work just fine. Needs immediate drying after washing to prevent rusting.

I was getting this to hopefully make and freeze my own uncrustables for my kids' lunches. No such luck. This thing is TEENY tiny (maybe the same diameter as a soup can) and leaves a lot of waste. I also noticed that regardless of how light I went with PB&J and how fresh my bread was, (yes, I went BACK to the store to get a brand new loaf of soft n' good thinking maybe my bread was just too dry, lol) the pocket tore every time I used the press. Don't waste your money. Just cut off the damn crust. Lol

I'm going to give this product a one star review. I bought this to make life easier, turns out it doesn't really do its job making it useless to me. It doesn't cut all the way down making you have to cut off the sides with a knife. Washing it is hard as well as the peanutbutter gets jammed into the teeth and it's really hard to get it out. I would not buy this product again and would pay a little more to get a product that is actually beneficial.

I am trying to move away from prepared foods with too many preservatives and additives. We made two loaves worth of the pb&j sandwiches and froze them. Two different types of jam. It was fast and easy for two people to get them done. We saved the crusts for bread crumbs or stuffing. Now the kids have a quick grab snack that doesn’t have all the additives the store bought ones do, and way less expensive!

I love this sandwich cutter and sealer! It is so easy to use and makes wonderful sandwiches. My favorite of course is peanut butter and jam preserves, also known as fruit spreads. I was buying the Smuckers frozen PB&Jelly sandwiches which were rather expensive, not knowing about this cost-saving tool. Saving lot of money plus can make a variety of sandwiches and other treats. BTW, the best fruit spread is St. Dalfour of France and my favorites are Rhubarb and Strawberry; French Grape; Peaches; and Cherry fruit spreads. Yummy! Best part the spreads have lots of fruit inside. Sandwiches turn out great.

The sandwich cutter/shaper does not work as advertised. I've tried this product a dozen times now and maybe it's the bread I'm using but the "uncrustables" style shape has its flaws with this product. Yes, the product trims the crust off, check! Yes, the product crimps down the edges, check! However, that's where it ends. When you press down and then press the top button to crimp the bread, for some reason it forces the top bread to break therefore exposing the peanut butter and jelly. So you have a perfect style shape and trim on the bottom bread but the edges on the top bread has been breached. Like I said maybe it's the bread I'm using but this product hasn't worked for me.

I’ve used this less than a dozen times since school started in September. Despite only hand washing and gentle use, the top broke off. Poorly welded.

Clunky and doesn’t cut super well

No me quedan como se indica, no sé si es el pan o qué pero de arriba se rompen.

This broke after 4 months of not using it daily. Made of cheap metal. Great idea. Terrible execution.
