Q: Does the new version absorb sweat as good as the old version?

This works and smells nice..we have purchased many times.

Q: Why can't gold bond powder spray-spray!!!?????? - at least 30 % of my order don't spray at all, others only spray a little and then stop.

I quit buying it for the same reason. Lotrimin makes a powder spray that does not clog up.

Q: I followed all the instructions on the can however could not get the red nozzle to disperse any product al all. Why is it not working?

Did you turn the nozzle to unlock it? Try holding it upright and shaking then spraying. If it's in the unlocked position and it won't spray, the nozzle may be clogged. It might be defective and you will have to return it for a refund or exchange. Mine has trouble spraying and gets clogged easily.
