Mom Brands Cereals, Crispy Cocoa Rice, 13.0 Ounce (Pack of 12)

The kids love it and it tastes great, but I almost broke a tooth when eating it. There was a quarter-sized chunk of caramelized sugar/flavoring that was sharp and extremely hard (as in, I couldn't break it up). It looked like glass but it dissolved (albeit slowly) in water. I suppose this can happen with any manufactured product but it turned me off to this flavor. I love MOM's BEST in that they don't use BHA/BHT like most other "yummy" cereals.

I like that it's organic. I like that my kids eat it. I can't stand that it's so high in sugar. Sure, I'm making the choice to buy it, because my kids are picky about breakfast. I feel better than giving them the other popular sugars, which almost always contain hydrogenated oils and things I can't pronounce.At least this is the lesser of the two evils, with all of the organic ingredients pronounceable.

I used to eat this by the truck load with my kids but decided to do some research on the company and found out that the company uses a lot of GMO's and pesticides (around 28% and higher) in their products. The company also admits it on their web page. This is disappointing because I thought since it had no artificial flavors or preservatives it would be non GMO but I guess i'll be looking for something else.Do your products contain any genetically modified ingredients?Our cereals are made with conventional ingredients and could contain genetically engineered derivatives/GMO. We assure you that we comply with all FDA requirements for labeling and claims. We are also continually searching and reviewing ingredients that allow us to give families a better breakfast option while keeping our product prices affordable.

Very tasty for a GF cereal.

My boys love this cereal!! I wish that more of Mom's Best were available as subscribe and save items! With a family of 7 we go through cereal pretty quickly, so being able to buy a case and have it delivered to my door is AWESOME!! It also helps to make my trips to the grocery store faster because I don't have to shop for items like this! Great product without all the yucky additives, artificial colors, flavors etc...win win!

The caramel flavor is derived from barley malt! Not gluten intolerant safe!!!! Beware of an upset tummy or worse!

I love this cereal. My wife says it's not quite as chocolaty flavored as some store bought cereals, but I had to really try to taste for it. And while there is an ever so slight difference, it's still great. My kids like it, my wife likes it despite her comment, and I think if you want to find a reason to not like it, you will, but really, it's chocolate flavored rice cereal. C-H-O-C-O-L-A-T-E. nom-nom-nom.

My kids love this cereal. They can't even stand the taste of the "Krispy" stuff anymore (grandma sometimes has it). And I feel better about letting them eat it than the usual commercial brands filled with crap. We recently moved and I have not found this brand in any stores locally so I was very happy to find them on "A" and at a great price!
