Product was as described but Amazon shipping is starting to be thumbs down.

As a previous review has stated. The terminal screws are larger than the locking nut. This is a pain, but can be overcome as long as you have enough access and take screws out to install the plug. The male end is good and installs without issues. The plastic on the plug and wire ends is a bit flimsy. Better quality / name brand plugs are a better composite or reinforced material. Plug is phased and only locks together 1 way. The markings for line up are not very pronounced so you have to set the female plug and remember where the small dot is that lines up with the wording on the male plug. Overall, it is working well and getting power to my motor.

works as replacement plug for Minn Kota trolling motor.

bought this because i had a marinco receptable pre-installed on my boat, and the plug matched up perfectly. Haven't used much, but initial impressions are is should serve the purpose just fine.

would like it to be a positive connection meaning only one way to go in

Direct replacement for the expensive original plug.I'm very pleased with it.

A pain to install this and lots of small parts that fall out. Would have been nice if some of these parts were glued in place and the threaded ring that holds the female end of the plug doesn't fit over the bottom part of the wire connection... so you have to assemble it from underneath, which is a pain in a tight space. This plug doesn't look like it will hold up over time.

Great product for smaller guage wire size.
