Wee Believers My Little Church 38 Piece Magnet Book Play Set

This was an Easter gift for our almost 5 year old and our son loves it. He loves having it for a toy at mass!It does have some tiny magnets so be sure to keep track of them as your kids play with it.

I gave this a 5 star- bc its definitely thorough. If your kids aren’t super destructive, it covers everything from the Eucharist on the plate- to the tiny Bible on the alter. I love details as a person who doesn’t put magnets in my mouth. My kids eat. everything. Everything you guys. We even adopted them both from two different families. They’re not even biologically related- but they BOTH. EAT. EVERYTHING. I mean they’re 2 (almost 3) and 1 1/2. My sister has children the same ages and they don't chew in their toys. They ruined all the tiny pieces. Lesson learned. I learned to put all the tiny pieces in a ziplock and keep the essential big magnets to get the idea of what mass is about for now... When they understand not to put everything in their mouth- I will buy this again because it’s so darn thorough and so great!

This was on the top of my 3 yo's Christmas wish list! He has loved playing with it during Mass. I wish the magnets were stronger, as things don't stay on super well when you layer them (eg sticking the priest to the chair which you've already stuck to the board), but as long as you're careful to keep it flat it's OK. It has so many little details in it that it makes a great tool for teaching about little things your child may never have noticed before in the church and helping them observe the beauty of their church.

This magnet set is so thorough, it includes everything you could imagine and more. It even includes a sheet telling you what many of the pieces are. This makes the set great for a wide range of ages. I took out a lot of the smaller pieces and saved them for later to make the set more manageable for a 3 yr old. I left him the main parts for the mass and will add some in later. This also means I had backups if he loses pieces. But it comes in a nice clear plastic envelope which should help prevent him from losing pieces.

My 2.5 year old loves this. Besides asking me what each magnet was (it was his first time playing with it today) he was quiet during mass. I love that he can learn about being a Catholic at such a young age.I think I will take half of the magnets out for mass next week. There are a lot, and I’d hate to lose them. We can swap them out each week to keep things fresh.Highly recommended.

I did't see that on the front cover when I bought it... So I got it for a 3 year old and her 1.5 year old brother. =/ Now it'll have to let it sit on my shelfs for at least a year. But I look forwrd to when I can give it to them, its soooo cute! and sooo well made!

This was a birthday gift for my two year old church-loving son. Both my two and four year old sons LOVE this magnet setup. Some of the pieces are quite small (easy to lose) so we will only be using it with adult supervision but that makes it a better tool for catechesis. My husband sat with our sons and played around with the magnets and church back board for a good thirty minutes tonight (with new Christmas toys and books just around the corner!) Our 4 year old recognized some pieces and asked questions about others. Great purchase! Would definitely recommend to others wanting Catholic teaching "toys" at home!

Wonderful way to keep a toddler busy during mass. I purchased this to help him understand the mass and to identify objects used in the mass. My 4 yo really wants to visit the confessional after playing with this set. Pieces are small but we only use on Sunday so its been easy to keep track of thus far. Very happy I purchased this to teach him about the mass and to help him understand the mass.
