Amazon only discredits its recommendations by endorsing a product like this. This cover is a low quality treated and decorative paper product that is in fact single-layer thickness, to my careful eye and touch. If a vehicle is stored outside with this thing, wind will flap and otherwise move the fabric around in places, and since the inside of the cover is not very soft, being the same as the outside texture, given enough time it will not have a good effect on paint, and will tear. To reduce this wind effect, I buy 4-foot foam insulation tubes that are sold as cold weather insulation for fresh water pipes in houses. I run a thin rope through them and then lay them over and tighten them across the vehicle cover at various places where the fabric has enough play in it to allow wind movement and potential abrasion (tightening is done by running ropes under vehicle). For me, this has always kept covers from blowing around on the vulnerable hood, roof, and back of my vehicle. Over the past several years, I have purchased three of these covers from various sources, and I have found that all the advertised performance data on the web was greatly exaggerated. The others covers I had were about $10 to $20 more expensive. But it is true, as you well know, that you get what you pay for. Pay little, get low quality. I keep coming back to cheap covers because I keep hoping some day to have a garage. What a dream. I purchased this item only to keep the sun out for 6 months, and so it will pass for that if secured properly to the vehicle and the wind in my moderate-climate area of the nation behaves itself as expected. To keep the moisture off my vehicle, I spread a plastic sheet on top before applying the cover.

Bought it for my mom Toyota sienna in Africa. The hot sun already took its toll on it. After 1 year it's ripping up apart. Material is not very strong.

I looked at many car covers upwards of $200 and thought well I'll give this one a try even though my van is a Dodge Grand Caravan. Fit like a glove! Its pretty water proof and I am very please with this fabric whic seems to be much better than my previous car covers.

It did not last a full year before it began to disintegrate in the Southern California Sun. Definitely a let down considering the price point.

I was pleasingly surprised at the sense of urgency in which my purchase was dispatched to me. I received my order the next day following my purchase. The cover was in great condition, fit my vehicle perfectly. It proved to be all that it was advertised to be.
