Love this product and it's a distinct improvement on other bottles.
I bought this for my dad, having already got one myself. It smells beautiful, not overpowering either.I love the fact it has sewing in the middle meaning that all the hot wheat contents don't disappear from one end to the other giving the bottle a more even distribution of heat. This means it doesn't burn you. And you get that heat gently warming you.Plus the fleece, when heated, does not make the outside of the bottle feel damp like my last polyester covered bottle did. I love this product. It's easy to use especially for those of us with joints that don't work perfectly.Thank you.

Follow heating guide!
Bought these for elderly relatives (safer than traditional hot water bottles). After some initial confusion the oldies like them.However beware of following heating instructions exactly. A carer put both hotties in microwave together and one got damaged presumably because a hot spot developed so I've had to order some more. I now leave heating instructions in big clear letters with other care instructions!

Is wet after putting in the microwave
No matter how many times I put this in the microwave it is really wet. I read that it needs to be heated up a few times as this can happen. They are for my kids from santa but I won't be giving them if they are going to keep being so wet. Nobody wants that in bed.

think before buying
If you want a heat pack that last half an hour, this might be for you. Well made and attractive to look at, but do not expect a substitute for a hot water bottle. The specific heat capacity of wheat is only about one third that of water, so if you want a bottle that holds a lot of heat for a long time these are not for you. It's just simple physics.

Lovely Wheat Bag but let down with an outer that is not removable for washing.
This is the second Wheat Bag l've purchased for my Mother as we've been so pleased with the first one. This second one is just as good as the first except the outer cover is not removable and therefore only rates 4 stars instead of 5 because of this. It is so much better to be able to remove the outer bag for washing and heating. l would have appreciated knowing this before purchasing.

Damp when heated
Takes longer to heat up than my previous wheat bottle and is quite damp when heated.

Great
Great, just what I wanted. Love the paw prints. I also like the fold' across the middle that lets you prop it up in the microwave so it doesn't matter how big your microwave is.
