This GTSE Blue Polypropylene Rope is robust and tough, and as good as any I have used. I find it has all sorts of uses from pulling heavy loads to rigging up a sling for lifting heavy loads that I otherwise could not manage without help. With lots to choose from here on Amazon, It probably comes down to cost when choosing. At the time of writing this is typically priced, while there are some at about 30% less, although I cannot speak for the quality of those.

Useful rope that has good strength
GTSE Blue Polypropylene RopeThis is supplied neatly coiled, held together with 4 ties. Before cutting the ties it's good practice to place a broom handle or similar through the coils so that it doesn't become tangled when released. With this mounted on a stick or broom handle you can roll off as much rope as you need, keeping the remaining rope neat and tidy. When cutting rope like this I always use a hot blade or similar, this seals the strands together to prevent fraying.The rope is 10mm in thickness and 30 metres in length, which is always handy to have in your workshop. The rope is made from polypropylene which is very strong indeed. If great strain is placed on this, it does have a tendency to stretch rather than to break. This is rated to carry a maximum load of 220kg, with a breaking strain of 1360kg.It's hard to get excited about a coil of rope as this looks much the same as any other similar rope that I've had before.
