Feels like ceramic and it's a bit heavy and big but it works for my cosplay

Looks AWESOME, no doubt. But it really is too narrow to fit comfortably on the face, so I see why everyone is saying it's too small. For reference, I am a SMALL person--five foot two and generally just kind of the size of a child. Usually when I read amazon reviews that say something is too small, I'm like: perfect! That'll fit!But no. This is actually just small for an adult size head and face. It is also a very heavy, seemingly sturdy resin, which is great except there's zero possibility of stretching this material out, and if you dropped it, I'm pretty sure it would break. If I had the time, I'd make a mold and recast this in a lighter and more pliable material.Again, though: looks awesome. Love the CONCEPT of a mask to wear over the functional face mask for a pandemic friendly costume. Less useful, though, if the heavy and narrow thing doesn't stay on your face.The ties are puzzling. I think if I replace them with something stretchy, the weight of the mask might feel more evenly distributed. I'll report back with pics if I figure it out. As is, given the weight and the narrow fit (or lack of fit), it feels cumbersome and unstable.

The mask looks good and the shipping was good and on time but when i opened the package it has a large crack in the eye sockett so now i have to fix it

It looks great but the mask slides around all over the place and the strings were basically shoe laces that didn't want to stay tight. BUT if it was tight it's painful because when you move your neck the mask digs into the bridge of your nose. THEN it was also broken at the jaw. I tried to tape it for a photoshoot but the tape reflected the light so I had to use a backup mask.

lil bit uncomfy and a lil difficult to speak but still doable. the fact that it was probably meant for an adult man’s jaw and it’s pretty thick and heavy (which is good) i had to have a ton of pins in my hair to hold up the mask but it held out all day. disclaimer : i added black/red eyeshadow in the creases of the mask and spray blood bc the mask came pretty plain. but i loved it! super simple costume and i got so many compliments on it

Honestly, I'd say the only upside to this product is that it looks cool. Let's get into it!Now, I'd like to be clear and say I did read the reviews before purchasing, so I knew it'd be fragile! However, I'm sad to say accidents still happen and I wore it a grand total of one time before it was knocked off a counter and shattered on impact.But I'm sure you know about that already, so let's get into the other issues.The mask isn't comfortable to wear, at all. The cords it comes with in order to tie it on are a struggle to make tight enough to even stay on your face, and once I did manage that, the mask rubbed very uncomfortably on my face. It moves every time you talk, which is both uncomfortable and nerve-wracking, as you have to worry if it'll fall off and shatter. The cords themselves are also a very uncomfortable texture to have rubbing on the sides of your face.The material is very cheap and lightweight, and it's really not that well-made for the price. I honestly probably wouldn't spend more than $5 on it. Currently, my hope is that I can hot glue the pieces back together and make something out of it.As for the paint job, it looks plain and cheap. I was in the middle of repainting it to suit my needs when it broke. It really just seems like a cheap kid's toy.All said and done, it looked alright and drew compliments, and it did its job for a few hours. I just really wouldn't recommend using this for anything long-term, unless you plan on doing quite a bit of modifications!
