The 16-gauge steel housing is extremely durable and features a clear polycarbonate face shield that protects the internal components of the exit sign from tampering. The screws that hold this LED exit sign together are tamper proof, further reducing the chances of vandalism or abuse. Red or green LEDs are efficient, consuming less than 5 watts of electricity. The BGL-EVR steel heavy duty exit sign comes with a 90-minute Nickel Cadmium battery backup that insures the safety of building occupants. Vandal proof exit signs are available with a variety of options, including self-diagnostic testing, visual alarm, custom colored housing, and even can be outfitted with a custom legend that features the wording or pictogram of your choice, call for more information. Damp location rating is standard and the unit is UL 924 Listed and code compliant throughout North America. External Specifications 16-gauge steel is thick and strong, making this exit sign tough to vandalize and abuse. A 1/8th of an inch thick polycarbonate face shield is placed between the steel face plate and red or green exit sign stencil. Four tamper resistant stainless steel screws secure this exit sign and prevent vandalism. Internal Specifications Red or green LEDs consume less than 5 watts of electricity at all times.
