A Great Grater...but....
Just received and tried it out. What I like about the product: it is simple to assemble and take apart. It stays pretty secure on a flat, smooth counter without too much slippage while using. It did grate well and will be good for making the carrot and apple salad that my family enjoys. I appreciate, as I consciously make choices to use less energy, that it's hand-cranked and not electric. It seems to be solid construction. What I'm a little disappointed by: the plastic parts stain and will probably become very stained with more usage despite cleaning immediately after use, as advised. I was under the impression that it also functions as a spiralizer to some degree (Q&A said would make noodles). It doesn't. I was not able to get LONG spiral curls with this product. I will keep it though, because I hate to grate cheese and this is definitely a great grater.

Grates Fells Naphtha very easily for Laundry Soap
We have used this for several years to grate Fells Naptha for Laundry soap. We use the smallest size cutter and if you are aggressive you can grate a bar in possibly less than 1 minute. Generally, it is never cleaned; it gets used for soap. Stores in the box if you remove the handle. The assembly will come apart in the middle between the white and green - this is getting looser with extended use (~3 years), but some tape will secure it. Suction works well if you keep it reasonably clean. Blade change is fairly easy if you decide to change blades.

Idea is good, design needs major thought and improvement!
Pros: Small, fits in a small kitchen. The multiple blades are good.Cons:- The rotator handle keeps falling off while in use.- The blade cylinder keeps falling off while in use.- You have to really press hard on the top to get the veggies or fruits into the blades. I have to stand on a step stool and press hard!- The MOST ANNOYING PART - It is fine in the beginning, but as you keep grating, the veggies/fruits slip and get stuck between the drum and the holder, and you have to manually remove it and try to put it at a different angle so that it doesn't get stuck. But after a point, it does not matter. As the pieces get smaller, they keep getting stuck. You spend so much time just getting the pieces in the right position that I have realised grating by hand is way faster.- It can grate only hard stuff like apples, carrots and beets. Softer stuff like cucumber, zuchhini or bottle gourd will get stuck between the drum and the holder in the beginning itself!- The plastic gets stained by beets and even carrots! All in all, I find grating by hand to be more convenient and quicker than setting this up, and struggling with it!

... only grated carrots with this grater and it worked like a charm
I have only grated carrots with this grater and it worked like a charm. I am really happy with this one. The suction device held it to the counter with ease and it was very easy turning the handle and feeding the carrots through the chute. I tried a salad shooter but returned it as it was hard to hold and feed the food at the same time, I had to really press the food down to get it to work and it felt like the motor was not strong enough to do the job. This grater handled the job with ease, easy to put together and take apart for cleaning. Very durable plastic !

but this shredder works pretty well once it's firmly stuck
It can be a little tricky to get the suction cup on the bottom to stick to the counter properly, but this shredder works pretty well once it's firmly stuck. I prefer these types of cheese shredders as opposed to the handheld types. This one also prevents me from accidentally shredding part of my hand in the process.

Thinking out of the Box
Wow what a nice Deal this is a well made product works well it. I make homemade soap and grating the bar is not so funI used the large hole drum first then rerun the soap with the small hole drum. I am not kidding here we are talking less than 2minutes. And all the soap is fine and ready for the next step. The product is Stainless Steel Drums and heavy Plastic WOW I am So Happy And I am sure it would be great for food but mine will be for the soap.

Design change needed.
First, this device is horrible for anyone using their left hand. You have to crank towards yourself, which is very awkward. Second, and most important, the tiniest movement in the opposite direction of the way that grates the cheese causes the barrel to fall out. Then you have to remove the handle, which requires effort, reinsert the barrel and lock it back into the crank shaft and reattach the handle. If by any chance you move the handle in the wrong direction when reassembling the device, you get to repeat this process! Third, I'm returning it for a refund. Now, in case you are thinking I'm inept and uncoordinated, please understand that, with constant reassembly, I managed to get it to grate my cheese. As long as the handle doesn't go backwards, it will grate just fine. However, every time I removed the plunger to remove the tiny piece of cheese it would not grate, the barrel moved backwards and fell out. If the company figures out how to prevent the handle from backtracking, this will be a serviceable device.

I use to shred blocks of cheese, It's more ...
I use to shred blocks of cheese, It's more convenient than pulling out and cleaning the food prosessor, and it won't shred your knuckles. My only complaint-it slides around, I have to hold it steady while pushing food onto the drum with one hand, because the other hand is turning the handle.
