I bought this bottle based upon so many positive reviews. The first time I used the bottle it leaked. I figured I didn’t tighten the lid enough, so I tried to tighten it a little more. Now the lid only spins. I painstakingly managed to get the lid off after twisting the black ring on the bottom of the cap. Apparently the cap is made of black plastic with a stainless steel cover. The stainless steel cover is not glued well to the cap. I’m returning this bottle for a refund. Fortunately, the lid broke within the return window. I invested in a Thermos brand bottle that is made better and I’m very happy with it.

The first day I had this I took my coffee to work and it cooled off within a few hours. Then I ran a test comparing the MIRA to a Hydro Flask 32 oz as well as my 5-year old China-Express 1/2 liter vacuum bottle. Filled all 3 with 170 degree water then waited 5 hours. The MIRA had dropped to 129 degrees but both the other flasks were still at 142. I then borrowed a thermal imaging camera and the heat escaping from the MIRA was obvious. This is not a good bottle for hot drinks.

Love this water bottle. The shipping was quick and the item as described. I had put some thought into this to decide between the flask and this one, but after reading the reviews including a great video review on Youtube, pitting the two water bottles head to head,this one was just as good for a third of the cost. And as a side npte, I actually did my own experiment between my daughter's flask and my Mira and guess whose ice cubes lasted longer? Yep, mine in the Mira - although hers is decorated better, seems to be a trend at least out west here to decorate your flask with stickers.

I previously purchased a different stainless steel H2O bottle but the plastic strap holding the lid was starting to break apart so I needed a new bottle. Unfortunately, my previously purchased one is no longer available. Thinking most all stainless steel bottles are the same I purchased this one. Sadly I made a big mistake. From previous experience ice should not be melting within 24 hours, it should last at least through the next day. The water stays cool, but definitely not what I expected from a stainless steel bottle.

I just received my Mira 18 oz. Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Wide Mouth Water bottle. I already have the Klean Kanteen 20 oz. and the Glacier Point 25 oz. Both water bottles work well, however I wanted something smaller to fit in a small sling bag for vacation. As you can see, the Mira is much shorter than the Klean Kanteen & carries just 2 oz. less. The Klean Kanteen will hold ice in the SoFlo heat without any problems. The Mira might not be as Insulated, but I want my water bottle to keep my water cool.Hopefully I do not have any problems with it. I will provide a follow-up in a few weeks after vacation.

So far, I love this bottle! It does not sweat like many other bottles I have and keeps drinks at a feasible temperature. I fell asleep one night with the bottle containing nothing but ice left inside. When I woke up the next day, the ice had barely melted. The only thing that throws me off is that the cap looks as though you can pull it up and drink rather than unscrew it. All in all, I will absolutely purchase more.

Love this. We got this for my son, he's in K and we wanted him to have cold water with him in a bottle that wouldn't get his things wet due to condensation. Its hot in TX and they tend to play outside during recess. This works perfectly. It's not too bulky and it keeps the ice for hours. We swapped the lid to make it more like a "sippy" so that he wouldn't pour the water all over himself.We ordered the  Glink Flip Lid/Cap for Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Sports Water Bottle with Flip Top, Fits Hydro Flask Water Bottle - Black  to go with it, and it fits perfect. No leaks and easy to drink out of.

I very rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to do so in the case of our new MIRA water bottles. We fill them in the morning, adding a few ice cubes. They really do keep our water nice and cold all day. What compelled me to write this review however was the impeccable support received after the purchase. My wife's MIRA bottle came with 2 lids, one screw on/off, and one screw on, then flip open to drink. My bottles only came with the screw on/off lid. We both greatly preferred the screw on, then flip open to drink lid. I was unable to find those lids on Amazon, so I replied to the MIRA email received asking if I had any questions. This was on a Sunday morning, I was hoping to hear back from MIRA Monday. I got an email back from Ava in MIRA customer support within an hour on a Sunday morning! Ava provided the link I needed to the screw on/flip open lids on Amazon, that's what I call impeccable customer service! And again, the water bottles are great too!
