Pros: It is waterproof, it fits over my LL Bean day pack, and it is small when rolled up.Cons: It tends to slip off my bag on the top near the straps.If I ordered another rain cover for my backpack, I would get one that had a drawstring instead so that it wouldn't fall off, or one with a loop/clip on top to connect to the hang strap on my backpack.

I got the 40-50L, since other reviews said to size up. Glad I did. There is nothing extra loose, even though I have extra space.I'm using this for my 30L bag that has some molle attachements. Fits over all well, and the elastic seems effective!I bought 2, so I could have one for my other half. They both fit good and are as described.The phone case thing is good as well. Fits my iPhone 6plus, but not with the case on it.

So easy to put on, though I think I should have gone a size larger for my bag. Still, it covers my bag and keeps the contents dry. I can take it off while flipping it inside out and trap the moisture inside it until I can set it somewhere to dry. (Useful for the train or bus.) The 'phone pocket' is kind a laugh as it doesn't fit my phone and it's not touch sensitive but I use it for any paperwork or travel info I don't want to get wet. Handy to have it on the string so I can just pull it out of my bag easily.

Bought one of these for each family member for a trip in which it rained most days. The backpack covers are extremely water proof. They also dry quickly once removed, which makes it easy to stow back into the pack. I got the XS size for our day packs. Some of our packs have straps that are sewn directly to the top of the pack, which means there is no where to hook the cover to the top of the pack, so a couple inches of the pack would be exposed. This is no fault of the cover, and didn't cause any issue in the drizzle we experienced, but might have been a problem in a real downpour. We had one pack with a lip between the strap and the top of the pack and for that the cover hooks on very well.

Keeps my backpack completely dry in Portland rain, and covers my smaller backpack *perfectly*. It's a tight fit, which is nice, because it doesn't have an elastic cord to adjust.One star taken off because the storage pouch is actually separate, instead of attached to the cover itself, which means I have to keep track of 2 items while the cover is in use. Not the end of the world, but it'd be so much more convenient if the storage pouch attached to the cover itself and tucked up between the backpack and cover when the cover is in use. Regardless, a fantastic cover!

I used this for a couple of months to keep my backpack dry during a 45-minute motorcycle commute, and it worked wonderfully. Tonight however, the wind was blowing super hard, and at some point unbeknownst to me, it took this cover clean off my backpack. So for a portion of my very rainy ride, I no longer had this keeping my pack dry.I don't think that this is the rain cover's fault, I just think that it was not designed with those conditions in mind. The cover does not feature any reliable means of securing itself to the backpack. It only partially wraps around the pack (and is impeded by the straps from achieving full coverage). It is because of this that the wind was able to take it off.This rain cover would be excellent for a user who is travelling at sub-freeway speeds, and it is priced very well. For users with the same use-case as me, I can not recommend it. A motorcyclist should find something that offers more peace-of-mind, especially if you are commuting with a laptop or other work supplies. Maybe you can use a belt or something to better secure this cover to the backpack. Personally, I don't want to make more of a hassle for myself than I need to, so I am hoping to find a solution that works for my case out of the box.

What a great and useful product! I have a high-end backpack and live in a rainy area of the country. It works as advertised. Great fit and excellent protection from the elements. I recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their items clean and dry.

I've only used it once so far, but it was great. It was easy to put on and kept my backpack dry. At this point my only complaint is the color. The bright orange is awfully loud for my tastes.The phone cover is nice too. It's a little hard to use, with different parts to put together, that help seal it tight. It works well. I went canoeing and had no issues with it at all, as far as keeping my phone dry.

Habia pedido la de 55-80 L, y me llego la pequena (S). Estaba considerando devolverla, pero me sirve para mochilas de menor tamano. Por otra parte, solo tiene un resorte para cubrir la mochila, por lo cual con facilidad puede sacarse, y en condiciones de viento podria dejar de cubrir la mochila.

Large cover is supposed to be big enough for a 50 to 75 litre bag. The pack I have is 50 litres and it didn’t even come close to being big enough. Label on the product said up to 90 litres! No way! I bought a second one for a 65 Litre pack and it was obviously even further away from big enough. I’d say if you buy this cover you will be lucky to cover a 40 litre bag. Just be aware of how small these really are.

I ordered the large, 50-70L. As you can see from the picture it is tiny, barely fits on my day back and definitely won't fit on my hiking backpack.
