I purchased these to wrap around my deck railing and they look very nice but I know that as soon as I take them off they will break, so these are pretty much one time use lights. If you're good with that and the amount of time it takes to unwind and untangle these lights with 2 people, then these are fine for the price.The second set had a short in the wire to the solar panel and the wire broke 3/4 of the way into unwinding the string. I would never purchase these again but like I said, if your good with them being one time use and you have the patience to unwind these and the help of another person for about 30+ minutes, then maybe they are worth it. Currently due to weather I am assuming, they only last a couple hours. Lack of sun perhaps? There are a few different modes to choose from in regards to a flashing pattern or solid on.

I bought a set of these lights and put them around the bannisters on out porch. These lights can be used year round.. Around Christmas, I set them to flashing, in the summer, I leave them on the steady cycle. They give out enough light to be able to see but dim enough where they don't attract mosquitoes. It is nice to be able yo sit out on a warm summer night without worrying about getting eaten up alive by mosquitoes. Great product and great pricing ad well.

The package arrived quickly, secure packaging. I carefully strung the lights in each of my daughters rooms (the solar was first in the window), taking a long time as the one long string is a bit tricky to work with but worth it because there are no connections. When I went to turn the first set on they turned on and stayed on for a few hours. The second set would turn on only if the solar panel was face down (my guess would be a wiring issue). After what I would have thought was fully charged, I had the first set turn in maybe 10 times, the second set maybe 5 times. I would try turning them on and be disappointed because they wouldn’t work. I played around moving the solar box and the odd time get a flicker, I tried multiple settings. They are a great idea..... but didn’t work for me! I forgot to write this review earlier as Christmas has been busy and just remembered as I was taking them down :-)

I'm disappointed, I ordered soft white because I prefer the yellow glow to the bluish white color and they are totally bluish white even though the box says soft white. I already have previous ones in my yard so now the two different colors look stupid. Also they should package them on a reel or something because they get tangled up so easily and the wire is so thin it kinks and can get very frustrating! But other than my personal color preference they are bright and look nice on railings and garden edges. The different modes of blinking and twinkling etc are also nice. I contacted the seller and received prompt customer service I was very pleased with.

The settings are neat and last well into the night. The panels are sensitive to light, so they turn off and on when car headlights pass. Untangling them to install is an art. I figured out how to unroll them without tangling them by the fourth set.

We ordered two (4 strands total) packs of this for our deck. All 4 strands, despite very carefully unpackaging and unrolling, are tangled beyond repair. We spent way too much time trying to unravel them, and still had no luck. And one of the rolls would not charge or turn on. If they would actually unroll and the broken strand worked, they'd actually be very pretty and neat little lights for outdoors. Unfortunately, as we received them, they're useless.

Good lights but this will get tangled and to jwill be frustrated how long it takes to untangle. No matter how hard you try it will happen. Why do you package it divided in two? Just put it all together or on a plastic or something. Will not buy again.

These work very well to create ambiance on our patio. Make sure the solar panel has many hours of sun exposure and they will last well into the night. They turn on automatically when it gets dark. These are fairy lights, so they are not meant to illuminate the area brightly, just create a nice magical appearance.
