These are really great to add to gift baskets and kits for kids. They enjoy being able to design their own planes. Even though they don't fly, the kids still enjoy them a lot.

Huge waste of money and a big disappointment , they assembled easily, but were too heavy and just crash land. It should be clear in the info that they are decorative only.

Firstly, the advertising is misleading because these are not made from balsa wood. They're actually made from a regular type of wood, which is a bit disappointing.On the plus side, this kit proved to be a fun craft project for my wife's kindergarten class. They enjoyed painting and decorating the planes. However, my wife had to make it very clear to the kids that these planes aren't meant to fly. She also had to caution them about the potential risks of tossing the planes around, as they could be harmful if thrown at someone.In conclusion, while these airplane models can be a great choice for hands-on crafting with kids, I'm only giving it 2 stars. The reason for the lower rating is because the product description could lead someone to think they're getting something (balsa wood) that they're not, which feels like a false advertisement.
