The larger metal tumbler and the metal lid of this shaker just do not match each other. Usually a cobbler shaker is difficult to separate when cold. In this case it is impossible to assemble at room temperature. I sent it back immediately.

I actually love this set. The shaker is mostly what I wanted. At first I was disappointed that it was smaller than I thought it would be. Then I realized it was perfect for 2 martinis which is what I wanted it for. And it doesn't leak when shaking. I used to bartend and so I love the quality of this shaker and strainer.
