Great Hardware but App HomeEye has problems. Requires USB 5v power module.
The security camera clock is a very high-quality device disguised as a low cost shelve clock. The clock displays the time as a blue 4-digit display. It can be programmed as 12 hour or 24 hour mode. The camera is located front mounted and has a wide-angle display of approximately 140 degrees. The clock connects to the user’s WiFi network and updates the clock from an Internet source. The clock comes with a USB power cable, tool to reset and turn on the clock and instruction sheet. The unit does not come with a Power Supply Module that must be purchased separately to provide the clock a power source. The clock contains a battery in the case but this is only to keep the clock active during power outages. The battery does not have the positive pole marked. Make sure to take a marker and draw a + on the positive end. If the battery is reversed there will be damage to the clock. You connect and program the clock using a utillty called HomeEye that can be downloaded from Google Play or other apps store locations. DANGER. This app uses a server in China to store contact information and connectivity. Do not use the device for monitoring sensitive locations or places in your home that would not be compromised by unauthorized viewing. The server has information about the user's network including topology, passwords for network access, and passwords for the camera. The camera is accessed by an ID and password. The user can change this combination locally. We also recommend the user program the WiFi using the parental guidance to turn off network access when the camera is not needed. This device is excellent for use as Baby Room Monitor with audio and Zoom features. The camera also used an SD Memory Card (not included) to record activity. The camera has motion detection with different levels, remote alarm, and other features such as date and time stamp that make security monitoring very convenient. I highly recommend this device with its three levels of video definition that is programable by the user. There is a small tool used to access the reset button and the on/off Switch. Expert programmers can examine the command structure used over Internet and can design their own App for the clock that eliminates the risk of network compromise.

The product was used
The cameras were obviously used and returns. The instructions mentioned plastic flags in the battery compartment to keep the battery from closing the circuit. These were removed already from both units. This caused one of the units batteries to go bad. Unfortunately I bought these cameras because my aunt is dying in hospice care and with all the people coming and going from her house I have to have the cameras to keep her valuables from gaining legs and cannot afford to return it to fix the issue and they were f course won’t just send me a battery. Otherwise the cameras work well and are easy to use. I’d have given them a five had they not shipped me batteries without care for the battery health.

Camera isn’t half bad
I was surprised how well the camera operated. With an SD card inserted it you have options to record all day, during a set time or on motion events. The recordings are taken in 5 minute intervals and saved right to the SD card. I feel the camera performance is actually quite good. The night vision could use some brighter IR lights but other than that I am happy with my purchase.My only issue is with the App. You can record video directly to the app, but anytime my recording went over 2 minutes, the app would crash when I stopped the recording and the video would not save. I think the developers need to change that option to free record onto the SD card. That is the only record setting not available. If you want to record something spontaneously you can’t, it has to be done via the previously listed options.

Keep It A Secert
This is a cute clock-shaped hidden camera. It was purchased for my eight-year-old son, who enjoys spy, hacker, and similar activities. We were on a mission, and this spy cam was going to help, because we wanted to identify the animal that keeps going potty on his floor.I must say that the camera's quality surprised me as it is remarkably good. It is easy to use and record with this device. When inserting an SD card, you can choose to record continuously, periodically, or only when motion is detected. It can also be configured to connect to your home wifi or a hotspot.On my Android phone, installing the app is a little challenging, but using my son's iPhone, installation was simple. Video can be recorded directly to the app, but as soon as the recording exceeds two minutes, the app crashes and the video cannot be saved.I like that the camera has night vision in addition to day vision. It only works well in small to medium-sized spaces, so a bedroom is the ideal size. It might not be as effective in larger spaces. My only issue is that although the packaging clearly states that the item is a camera, it was intended to be a secret.

It looks like a regular clock
It looks like a regular watch. You would never be able to suspect that it’s a camera. It’s nice to have it when you have a babysitter or showing for your house that you sell! Gives you a piece of calmness. The quality of the video is great as well!

camera= good, software =bad
Night vision is ok for my use, not as good as a security camera. Resolution/clarity is good but won't hold your setting, usually reverts to "SD" after each re-boot (which is often). Software crashes a lot so when viewing be prepared to boot it up frequently. Sound detection is dismal. Have to turn sound gain to halfway to avoid severe distortion and then too its not sensitive. All in all, it serves my purpose but is only worth half of what they ask. would be worth their price if worked well.

A little hard to setup, But a good camera.
First, you should know that the camera requires a micro SD formatted for Fat32. So be sure to order that as well.Camera works as advertised and I like that you can view footage from your phone. The motion detection picks up well.Overall, a good buy. Just looks like a digital clock to the unknowing eye. Formatting the card and connecting properly was a bit of a struggle.
