Superb solution to oil stained patios, driveways etc. Works extremely well.
Read great reviews about this product so decided to give it a try. I was NOT disappointed.I had a large 40 x 40 cm stained patch of patio on front drive of the house. Fresh used oil which was leaking from a defective oil pressure sensor on my vauxhall. I had already tried scrubbing out the stain using a 'heavy duty patio cleaner' and a broom. No luck. I hated the way the oil stain made the front drive look unclean and trampy. I started reading up on products, I came across a product called 'pour n restore' which is an american product which had insane reviews online, and i went onto amazon to see if i could buy it. i could buy it but it was ridiculously expensive- £60 for a bottle. which is ridiculous. I can only think that its because it is an american product so it costs more to ship it over to England. Pour and restore is a product which you pour on, leave to dry and then scrub away the powder- much like drive alive. I carried on searching amazon and came across this 'drive alive' product which had a number of very positive reviews. The product sounded very similar to 'pour and restore' this, plus the positive reviews and the reasonable price- £6 including delivery made me buy it.I was not disappointed. The stain, is gone. i used the whole bottle. left it to dry overnight, and parked the car on top of the stain to prevent rain from disturbing the drying process. next morning- this morning in fact, i scrubbed off the dry powder using a wire brush. I rinsed down the patch and scrubbed again. now, the patio is dry, and the stain is 95% gone. I am so pleased and would highly recommend this product. will definitely buy again when needed.

Worst product ever
Had mixed reviews about this product on Amazon, but thought to give it a try. Followed all instructions but its a useless product. Makes your driveway worst then it was with the original oil stains. Apart from the oil stains that did not budge , there are now additional white stains left by the product. Please don't waste your money. This product is a joke.

Did the job, but some white residue needed removing
Although it looks odd spreading the white glue-like substance around it worked well sucking up the oil marks on indian stone. I haven't found anything else that does it. It goes to a compactful powder, which I use a sweeping brush to brush off with, although I had to use the back of a hand brush to get most off. I still power washed it afterwards.

Did a reasonable job. I was expecting better. The stain is still visible but much lighter.
Did a reasonable job. I was expecting better but I will have to give it a second go and possibly use a scrubbing brush or toothbrush. The stain is still visible but much lighter. Quite hard to remove as dries to a white paste and needed a stiff broom to remove and then a hose/watering can. Their should be a better product out there but this is a good first step. Regards A.

Well, well, well.... It really works!
I noticed dark stains on my block paved drive and realised that the sump plug was dripping! I tightened the plug but was left with multiple very visible stains.... very annoying!I chose Drive Alive after comparing reviews on Amazon and waited till we'd had a few warm days before tackling the job. I shook the bottle well and poured the Oil Stain Remover into a plastic dish to brush it onto the stains (my drive has a steep slope so I couldn't follow the recommendation to just pour it on.) I tried to dab it on to get a thick even layer but I guess it was only about 3mm. The remover dried bright white over the next few hours and after 6 hours I brushed it off with a scrubbing brush and collected the dust in a dustpan. It was a breezy day and the dust did disperse quite a lot in the breeze making it difficult not to breathe it in.I was well pleased to see that the smaller "drip spot" stains were gone and the areas where several bricks were heavily stained were much lighter and less noticeable. Over the next couple of weeks though, more oil "wicked" up out of a few of the more heavily stained blocks and was showing on the surface again. I'd only used half the bottle, so I repeated the process but this time I used a scraper to release the layer of chalky white stain remover before using the scrubbing brush... this created much less dust. Now the stains were practically gone but again after a few more weeks there is now a bit more oil showing on the top surface of a couple of blocks. It is a vast improvement though compared to the original stains and does not now catch the eye like it used to.I still have about 15% of the bottle so I'll leave it a while and then use it on the blocks still showing mild staining. The Stain Remover seems to suck the oil out of the blocks and then remaining oil deep in the blocks rises slowly to the top.To be honest I'm amazed at how effective Drive Alive Stain Remover has been and I think the mild remaining stains will be practically gone when I've used the last of the bottle. (I've treated an area of about 10-12 blocks in total and all bar two are clear of oil.) Finally, where the Stain Remover was applied, there is a very slight pale "residue" which is lessening with time but I'm confident that will easily be removed next time I pressure wash the drive. This all sounds like a lot of work but it's not... 15 minutes to brush on, 20 minutes to remove, got me outside on a nice sunny day, and no oil stains to fret over! I'm happy.

Didn't work on my drive
This was very easy to use and at first looks great and like it's working but once all the white has gone stain was still present unfortunately.
