I love the idea since I've had other cradle springs break. Gravity won't! The clip is strong and sits nicely in the vent. I have two problems with this:1. My Galaxy S8 Plus sits in the cradle and the left "arm" compresses the "Bixby" button. So, if I securely fit the phone in the cradle, the button depresses and Bixby asks me what I want. The phone is loosely secure when in the cradle. Bumps and vibrations cause the button to depress.2. YouTube videos show the cradle rotated 90 degrees for a landscape view. The problem is, the phone isn't pulling the bottom "arm" down. The arm transfers the force to the "side arms." Since it's not being pulled down, it isn't secure. Any turn in the opposite direction will find the phone sliding out the other end.Maybe I'm missing some way to lock it into place once the phone is in the cradle? There were no instructions packaged with the cradle. I don't mind using it in portrait view. If there's a way to secure it so my virtual assistant button doesn't accidentally depress, I'd try that. But without deactivating that button, I don't know how it can be done.The image showing "universal compatibility" should be updated. The Galaxy S8 Plus is shown sitting very high up. The image of the iPhone 8 is more accurate for this model.

I have tried numerous phone holders and Finally, Finally this one has been the perfect support for my phone. The holder fits firmerly in the vent and offers a flexability in positioning for a drivers' desired view.

Once you find a good vent location this thing is great. But it's better for thin phones.

Il supporto adotta un sistema geniale, è il peso stesso del telefono sulla barra inferiore che fa stringere i due supporti laterali in modo da bloccare l'apparecchio. Non essendoci molle da aprire risulta molto semplice infilare e sfilare il cellulare. Il supporto inferiore è "biforcuto", ossia ha uno spazio che consente di far passare il cavo per tenere il telefono in carica; unico difettuccio, lo spazio non è larghissimo e se il connettore è grande bisogna infilarlo con attenzione. Comunque tutti i cavi che ho ci entrano.Quando non c'è il telefono, ha un'estetica pulita ed elegante, l'impatto è piuttosto minimale.Il sistema di aggancio all'auto è il classico pinzone gommato che si attacca alle alette della ventilazione. Bisogna che siano del tipo dritto e piuttosto larghe, sulla descrizione del prodotto c'è l'eenco delle molte auto compatibili. I highly recommend you ignore all of the negative reviews on here and try this holder for yourself. I've been a long time use of Tetrax magnets & wanted a better solution which doesn't require cases and magnets attached to them. The UGREEN holder is low profile, looks great and does not fall off at all (even with the U.K roads and huge potholes). it holds the phone brilliantly and gives you full confidence it won't fall off. I had a slight issue with mine and UGREEN solved it straight away. So there is excellent customer service along with an excellent product. Well worth the price.

Having just switched from using a satnav unit, which gave its own issues of keeping in place, to my phone for navigation I wanted a way of holding it securely and visibly in place. Looked at various options none of which were convincing. The distance to the windscreen on my Skoda Roomster means that a long arm windscreen mount would be needed and from reviews these seem to move around unless you get one which has a pad to fix to the area above the control panel - not ideal: then, of course there is the perennial problem of the suction being lost on the windscreen mount. Also looked at mounts which use the CD player slot - but was concerned that this would do damage to the player mechanism, and some reviews support this concern.Then I came across the holders which fit to the air vents and decided the UGREEN Gravity Linkage which had excellent, if few, reviews was worth trying at £9.99.Am delighted with this device. Have made a few journeys so far and it has remained rock solid but is also easily removable and leaves no mark behind.. The photos show it mounted in the Roomster with a 5.2" Moto E4. The phone can be charged while in place but is also easily lifted out and returned to the mount.OK, there is some obstruction of the air vent and controls where it is mounted but we live in an imperfect world.

Pas de rotule cachée derrière à serrer.Tout aussi facile à retirer.Très stable, ne vibre pas.Système de serrage par le poids du smartphone ingénieux.Compatible avec mon IPhone 6s et sa coque de protection.Les -:Pas le système le plus discret,Pas adapté à une utilisation à l’horIzontale.Dans mon cas, bien adapté aux aérateurs centraux de ma BMW série e46.Juste veiller à le centrer afin de ne pas masquer tantôt la commande de volume de l’autoradio, tantôt la commande de ventilation.

Update [01/09] I got contacted after my review below and whilst they apologised and requested pictures to feedback to manufacturer as well as promising to send a replacement, this has not materialised. Not the customer service I would expect.>>>>>Seemed a good product when it arrived but am disappointed that in less than 2 months of having car phone holder it has gone faulty. The rubber at the back has come away from the plastic holder at the front and whilst you can force it back on, if you want to ever take it off you have to pull the rubber off separately.
