Xero Shoes Men's Glenn Leather Barefoot Dress Casual Shoe

I normally have to buy a half or whole size up to avoid my toes being forced together. These shoes feel like they fit better than most that I've worn in my adult life. I have wide, very flat feet. The soles have excellent grip. The larger toe box gives my digits some wiggle room that they don't normally have in Adidas and Nike shoes. I will be buying more pairs as I need to replace other shoes. These are a wonderful stand in for dressier shoes/sneakers that tend to have pointed toes. They aren't super fancy, but a solid option for black shoes to wear to work.

The best zero drop open toe box dress shoe out there. I can wear these all day they are so comfortable. I get compliments on them all the time at work or people asking about them.

This shoe is heavy and stiff for a "barefoot" shoe. Consequently, these qualities, combined with the wider toe box make the shoe rattle around loose on the foot (like, when you lift and shake your foot, the shoe moves around on it) and, hence, make footstrikes noisy. This is not a nimble shoe - very much the opposite of the Speedforce, for example.Also, the stiff heel counter and high tongue are both ankle biters, causing wounds to bare flesh if wearing these shoes with no-show socks or barefoot. (That said, the tongue is at least cut down a bit at the center (concave) making the damage a bit less severe than it would be with a straight or convex tongue.The look is good. And the quality seems fine. But, the design is a functional failure for me.

I was in search for dress barefoot shoes. I tried several models and I ended up liking the Xero and the Vivobarefoot the most.ALthough both were very comfortable, I ended up keeping only the vivobarefoot because they looked a bit more dressy than the Xero (see the pic comparison). But overall, I would say this is a pretty solid choice too.

Very comfortable, stylish and works for casual and work. These are daily drivers.

I love Xero shoes - have been using them for the last 2 years. I wanted to replace my old black prio shoes and saw this dressy shoe. I have had lots of problems with them - bad fit, not comfortable, and also Xero has a terrible return policy. I still love Xero shoes and have other pairs - but this one was a bad experience and I have wasted my money on this pair. Wish I could get some form of compensation for it. I have tried them multiple times, each time it results in pain and discomfort. I have no intention of using them anymore.

Well-made, comfortable shoe with accurate sizing. My 9.5 (American) fit exactly as expected. Soft, leather upper with a very flexible sole (unlike another brand I bought that had a very stiff sole). Breaking these shoes in slowly because it's really a different feel than the heavily padded, brand-name running shoes I usually wear.
