Mythic Game Master Emulator (Mythic Role Playing And Game Master Emulator Series) Paperback – January 25, 2018

I had seen this book in use for solo TTRPG-ing all over YouTube. It is a 5 Star product w/o doubt. Add a few other playing aids and a rule set and you can really have a great game solo. What to use? Pick your system (I recommend a rules-light game, or a system you are very familiar with; Basic Fantasy, Tunnels and Trolls, AD&D 1, 3, or 3.5; lots of d20 options out there. Then take a look at aspects of the FREE 'Ironsworn' rules for some very interesting ways of keeping things rolling along (pun intended). If you have an imagination, so often lacking in people these days, solo fun can be had in spades. Also could see this aid very useful for 'run and gun' gm's that are not big on hours and hours of prep before each session. Buy this. You won't regret it.

My copy arrived it near perfect condition. The only issue I had was with some pages being stuck together at the seam. They came apart nicely enough in most cases but I did have the odd page get peeled up from it, but it was all near the seam and didn't have any effect on the print.As for the book itself, enough good things have been said and I can only echo them. If you know about this product and don't own it already then you should probably just grab it. You can also get it from drivethurpg as a pdf if you need that instead.

As a solo RPG fan, I cannot recommend this book enough. It may look complex, but trust me: it isn't. The mechanics of Mythic GME are quite simple to follow and are sure to give you excellent gaming experiences.Now, the only detail I definitely don't like is that of the images or illustrations that come with the book. They don't look good, and the proportions of the different gals portrayed throughout the pages are off. But, you can solve this issue by pasting some illustrated contact paper on top. I bought a roll of manga-themed contact paper, and now I have a fully functioning Mythic GME book, that's decent to look at.

This is the first GM emulator I was exposed to, and after many years it's the one I still use the most. If you are at all curious about playing solo, get and read this book. I believe you will be surprised at how much fun it can be to play a solo game. Or do like my wife and I do, and play together without either of us taking on the GM mantle and let Mythic guide the adventure for us. Highly recommended!

This is a great approach to gaming solo. I found it a little more complex overall than I expected, however I like it for play-testing my original RPG Campaigns and new/original Characters.This is very creative way to adapt for an individual.

The Mythic GME is the gold standard for playing TTRPGs solo. There are other systems and some game specific systems out there, but Mythic is by far the best!

O livro que mudou para sempre a cena dos RPGs "solo", mas que é muito mais que só isso. Não só permite que você jogue qualquer RPG sozinho ou com amigos sem ter um Mestre coordenando o jogo, mas também é uma ferramenta maravilhosa para qualquer Mestre de RPG. Testar aventuras do ponto de vista do jogador, criar histórias para NPCs e improvisar durante a sessão de jogo... tudo fica muito mais fácil com este livro.Claro, ele também é só o começo, pois as continuações "Mythic Variations" e "Mythic Variations 2" são igualmente maravilhosos. Porém só com este livro aqui já é possível fazer quase qualquer coisa.
