6 outlets in a not-too-imposing package. I wouldn't place it on an outlet with direct line-of-sight when entering a room. But if you're needing extra outlets next to the bed or in another space where need flexibility, the rotating outlets are super convenient. Obviously can't speak to the surge protection effectiveness since I'm not in the habit of deliberately causing power surges, but the rating is sufficient for most small electronics. I wouldn't use this for any expensive A/V equipment, but for everything else (phone chargers, lamps, clocks, heat pads, etc), I don't think you can go wrong here.As far as quality of construction goes, it's on par with other EchoGear products. Pretty solid. Not cheap. Not super-high end. Reliable fit & finish. I find the design functional and not terrible to look at. Install is simple. Definitely use the center screw. (I should note, standard outlet covers only. This doesn't work with traditional decora outlet covers.)For the price, it's a solid value proposition.

First off, this needs to be installed in a current outlet (meaning the plate comes off, and one outlet is used as the receptacle for this surge protector). The enclosed screw to attach the surge protector is included, and you need a screw driver with a longer reach to install. After installation (which was really quick, my 11 yo daughter installed one herself for her room) you can just figure out which outlets flip out to accommodate the various size plugs. The USB outlets work well, no issues there. Overall, a great surge protector that eliminates the need for a tangle of wires on the floor. Very happy with this purchase and the ease of use!

This is exactly what I needed since I only have two outlets in my living room and so many things need plugging in! Still, I try not to overload it.
