White Faux Taxidermy The Templeton White Faux Deer Wall Sculpture (White/Gold Glitter)

Amazing. Seriously, Its a bit pricey for not seeing it in person first but once I unwrapped it I could not hide my smirk/smile! The resin is heavy and white, fine details and not a nick on it. The antlers were very metallic gold, not in a glittery way just very golden looking and shiny as hell. My picture does it no justice (iPad, sorry!) but once I mounted it (with a normal nail from a hardware store) the colors just "popped" and my navy blue wall started to come together. Its not huge, not small, its probably large I'd say, almost the size of a real buck (but more a doe really) so it will fill a good amount of space. I am now ordering three more but in the different animals they offer (if there were more animal choices Id buy them!). Extremely unique piece, especially considering the fact that I am an actual hunter albeit metrosexual, my hunting buddies thought it was neat and my girl friends love it, its masculine in a non-macho way and can swing either in a man or woman's decor, just depends on how your house is decorated. I will say that the resin is extremely white so I would avoid hanging on a white wall, you will definitely lose the luster and fine details. Its truly a work of art and very worth the money spent.

Just opened my Hesher silver deer head....it's really beautiful! I wanted it to be large, as my great room has 11 foot ceilings. It's definitely a show stopper and looks great where I had planned to put it above a console table. Surprisingly my husband loved it too, and suggested I buy another one and put them flanking our large bank of windows in the room. (Surprise, when has your husband encouraged you to buy a $100 decorating item, ever?). Sadly now it's out of stock so I'll have to wait till after the holidays to do that. Buy one...you won't be disappointed. Packaging was great and it arrived in perfect condition. The antlers fit well into the base.

This was exactly what I was looking for. A compromise between my husbands nostalgia for the mounted deer heads of the old family cabin and my modern and animal friendly decorating ideas. The rack of the deer is impressive and is large enough to make a statement. Unfortunately, my first order arrived with a broken antler, how, I am not sure as the packaging is very thorough. But I sent back through Amazon, got a refund, and ordered another. I tried to contact someone about just sending me a replacement antler, but I couldn't find a way to get a hold of customer service for the item. Regardless, it was worth the back and forth.I personally like the all white, but will say it could blend into a wall if you don't have some sort of accent lighting or a dark colored background wall. The detail of the carving is excellent and other than it's all white appearance is spot on for a real animal.

I love this thing! I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but I am so glad I ordered this. It arrived quicker than expected, was packed super carefully and wasn't damaged at all. The horns fit perfectly without having to glue them or anything. We hung it up easily with no issues and it looks awesome! It is great quality and adds so much to our living room. Now I want to get one for the bedroom too!

i absolutely love this deer head. it looks amazing, it's a good size, it's well-made, the paint on the antlers is vibrant. i would have given it 5 stars hands-down if it had not been for the broken ear. i received the item with an entire ear cracked off. i would imagine this is the fault of UPS, and not white faux taxidermy. i also would imagine that they would have replaced my item if i had contacted them regarding the break. however, i LOVED this so much and couldn't wait to get it on my wall! so i bought some super glue and it's pretty much as good as new. now i'm saving up for the unicorn head for my girls' room:) great company.

It's exactly what you expect it to be - except when you accidently get your shirt caught on the antler when you're walking by your desk before hanging it up and all of a sudden it's on the floor in 50 pieces.Yeah so anyway it would have been really dope if the seller replaced it or gave me a discount but they didn't so this is me not happy with the service etc etc.But ya know, I guess the moral of the story here is don't drop it on a hardwood floor or it will break. I can pretty much guarantee that.

When I came home and saw the big box that said White Faux Taxidermy on it, I got so excited. It was like Christmas! There was a very cute postcard inside thanking me for my purchase. I could tell that a lot of care was put into the packaging of their products. I ripped the box open and let the packaging foam overflow as I pulled out my bright yellow deer head. It was so effin COOL. It had quite a bit of weight to it so it didn't feel cheap. The yellow was a little more pastel than I imagined it to be, but they do forewarn you that colors may not be as they appear in the photo so I guess I can't really complain about that. The only bad thing I can say about it is the smell. My entire living room smelled of fresh paint after I unwrapped the deer head from its plastic. I suppose it's comforting to know that it was made to order (or so I assume) so that's a plus. I have not yet hung it up on my wall but when I do, I am sure I will love it even more.

I thought this would have more weight to it, seems fairly detailed but not super strong feeling.
