Uniross Superfast 1-2 hr LCD Charger & 8 x AA 2600 Series Batteries

This unit does exactly what it is supposed to do and, as there are 8 batteries in total, with each set of four taking 60 - 90 minutes to charge, my camera is rarely out of power.The charger lets you know how much power is in each battery, with each battery section having its own little 'window' with an image of a battery either empty of going up in stages of four lines until the battery image is filled in white.I did find that one set of the batteries, the one that came out of the charger in the package, seem to get a lot hotter than the other four, even though i charge them for the same amount of time. But the batteries are as good as each other and have not let me down, yet.One fully charged set can last in my camera most of a shoot, which can last up to five hours, depending where i am, and they last a lot longer if i use the view finder and not the screen.In all,

Firstly, I cannot fault the seller - the charger and batteries were quickly despatched and received.The batteries themselves appear to be good quality, with lots of capacity and the ability to power 'high drain' items (in my case, a digital camera).What REALLY lets this product package down is the charger as it didn't want to charge the batteries to their full potential. I don't know if the charger I was supplied with is defective, but its 'smart power-off' to avoid over-charging always triggered regardless of whether the batteries were full - usually after sixty to ninety minutes. That left me with batteries less than half powered, which isn't ideal!Fortunately I was able to use a different charger to get the batteries topped-up on a recent photo-shoot. I found that I could 'trick' the supplied Uniross charger into charging the batteries more by waiting until the readout stated 'full', removing two of the batteries and swapping their positions, and then powering it up again. But this is a bit of a faff to have to do every hour or so.So, batteries good. Charger bad. Worth buying? Honestly I wouldn't recommend it... but you might have more luck than I did.

I bought the charger with an addional 4 batteries because I use them for my cameras flashgun, Hence when the first four is done I can slot the other 4 in and then recharge them. Yes they do take about 1hr 50mins to recharge which is super fast but they tend to be quite hot when you take them off the charger, therefore I leave them to cool down for 10mins before I put them in the flashgun, other than that, there a great purchase and you can even charge the batteries via usb or incar charger which is great for charging on the go.ALL IN ALL 10/10 Well RECOMMENDED..

only used a couple of times on a radio controlled boat, lasts 5 times longer than normal batteries so well pleased

Bought this after my old charger died, well worth it. Quick and easy to use (don't do like I did, and think the digital screen was faulty, it was only a sticker covering it lol)Batteries that came with it seem to be very good as well!

wanted charger to recharge 2400 rate batteries this came in at the right price and have used Uniross in the past and thier products hold up
