Could be good if it had a better strap.
The only complaint I have is the velcro strap used to secure it to your wrist breaks very easily. The strap on mine broke the third time I used it.

i tried different versions of this but i liked this for because of the size and material. it seems nice but more importantly it helped me learn!

Pleasantly surprised at how it helped my swing!
I thought this was going to a novelty golf item; we all know there are plenty of gimmicky golf gadgets out there. However, this simple little "swing trainer ball" is quite effective. I was pleasantly surprised when it actually helped my swing. I haven't been golfing long and I am motivated to get better. For me, this is just one tool in a mix of approaches to to do that. Now. I wouldn't use it on the golf course. It would look kinda goofy and call too much attention to itself. I practice my swing with it in the backyard or the garage. I honestly surprised myself by hitting the ball more consistently after the first time I used it. Not just for golf
So, I'm not a golfer. So I'm not the best reviewer for this. What I can say it that it is well made. The velcro wrist strap is made of fine material and speaks to good quality. The ball is securely attached. It's not coming off. The ball is also fairly solid. It doesn't give very easily. Not sure whether it can improve your swing. I go it for the ball. it is essentially constructed of geodesic domes. Int's not a true Bucky Ball. If you could slice in half at the thick band in the middle you would have two domes. The bottom pentagons are slightly distorted. However, this is a great teaching device for geometry which how I plan to use it.

Pretty good device
This is a pretty cool device. It is made very well from what I can tell. The ball is kind of a hard plastic but kind of flexible. The wrist strap is very sturdy and well made. There is a Velcro strip that holds the wrist strap together and there is also the outer strap that wraps around the whole thing. It's a little awkward to use at first cuz it feels like something is in the way but after a few uses, gets a little better. This is supposed to keep your arms closer together throughout the swing so that you do not have the dreaded chicken wing. It does seem to give good feedback because you focus on trying to keep your trail arm touching the ball throughout the swing. I think this is a decent training device for anyone who is into golf. Overall, it is pretty solid looking product.
