Not true to stated dimensions
The listing says it measures 22.5x 54. It’s definitely not. It was at least 1-2 inches short in all dimensions. I had to shim it significantly to get it to fit. With that amount of shimming the door doesn’t close perfectly. Other than that it’s great. The quality seems good. Wish they would have listed the true size of the ladder not just what it will fit into. Overall it works well but disappointed with the sizing

doesn't close tight
These ladders are junk! Amazon endorsed them and they are cheaper for a reason. I have to put sheetrock on them and they are not even sucking up tight without it on there. No instructions for adjusting tension as they have no springs. Made in China, the best...NOT

Works as it should.
Lightweight and easy to handle. Sturdy and fits well. Works great and was affordable. My only disgruntle if any would be that it's difficult to feel steady on the rungs about halfway up once you get up to where the wood door starts because the gap is tight and your feet can't fit fully on each step so you have to continue stepping up the rest of the way on the tips of your toes. But overall it works as it should and we're glad to have it for our attic.
