Grown AlchemistHydra-Restore Day Cream Facial Daily Moisturizer, 65 mL

I really like this moisturizer and Grown Alchemist products in general. Grown Alchemist has recently been integrated into my gym, and I LOVE the products and how they make me feel. This product specifically works almost as an in between day and night cream--it's probably a bit too thick to be used as a standard day cream, especially in the summer, but not heavy duty enough for my nighttime regime, so I use it for spot treatments--a little dab is all I need for my face.That being said, this definitely moisturizes and softens my skin with just a tiny amount, leaving me feeling fresh and with a pick me up whenever my skin finds itself dry. Because of that, even though the tube is somewhat pricey, it's a good value because it'll last a long time. One final bonus is that the scent is somewhat neutral--it doesn't overpower whatever other scents I'm wearing, and just leaves a subtle cucumber-spa scent on my face. Very refreshing!!

This is the second item I've selected from the Grown Alchemist line. The first is hand soap with an unusual smell and a thick and cooling texture that I find intriguing, so I was thrilled to find another product from this line. This product is touted as a daily moisturizer, but I didn't like the matte finish, as I prefer my skin products to give me a glow. As for the scent, initially it started off strong, but quickly dissipated within a short period of time. This cream would make a great base under makeup, but I've found it has no benefit for my face. However, I will take the idea of another reviewer and use it as a hand cream which works for me.

I like that this facial moisturizer absorbs quickly into my skin and it leaves my skin moisturized and nourished. It is suitable for my sensitive skin and it does not cause any allergies or irritations. This day cream has a noticeable scent but it does not really irritate me. Even though it is relatively expensive, I think that this skincare product offers good value for money because it delivers effective hydration for my sensitive skin.

As a face cream, I don't like this. It's great as a cream for any other part of the body. The scent is so, so heavy. It makes me uncomfortable. The formula itself feels nice and light but still moisturizing. I have to use this on my hands because this amount of scent on the face is not doing good things to my dry sensitive skin.

I love this brand for the quality ingredients and that it is vegan and does not test on animals. I love that this is a day cream, it feels like a strong moisturizer without clogging my pores. Yes it is thick enough to use at night, but this feels great for day time use. I prefer it on days where I go without makeup. It still helps my face feel quenched and thus dewy.. gives me a bit more confidence to go makeup free!

This Grown Alchemist day cream has a medium weight to it and it absorbs into my skin very quickly without any shine. I tend to prefer water-creams for daytime, but this cream, which is on the thicker side, still feels light enough for daytime use and moisturizes very well. It does have a floral geranium scent, but I love it. I don’t find it strong at all, but very feminine and pleasant. It’s also unusual to see face creams in a tube, but I think it’s great since it keeps the product more sanitary. Overall, I really like this moisturizer and look forward to seeing what else Grown Alchemist has to offer.

It was hydrating but smells very strong of geranium. I don’t recommend this for dry or sensitive skin.

This works well. It moisturizes well and feels good. The smell is quite strong for me, so I’m not using it on my face. I’ve been using it as a hand lotion and it’s been doing very well though. Just not anywhere near my nose.
